The motor is Eiwol although for a short period of time the bike was fast the motor would overheat quickly display unit would flash multiple error codes. Website adversities that you can turn off the headlight however the headlight is always on with the daytime running light which uses 20 watts of battery power all the time he bike is on. The chain would jump off the front crank gear then be trapped behind the front crank gear and the plastic housing then require a mike mechanic or using an Allen wrench with a crank removal tool to get the single piece crank off just to get the chain back on the front crank gear otherwise you cant walk the back backwards to change the reduction in a tight space. When the chain jammed in that space between the front crank gear and the bottom bracket plastic housing you cant pedal then the chain becomes all tangled up. Not let me get into the brake system The brake calipers are not adjusted to the distance to the brake disc therefore it will drag across the brake disk with the caliber brake pads. In fact the front washer on the front brake caliper is scraping the brake disc. Now the so called front suspension fork is fake being that it is a single cartridge inside the fork tube on the right hand side and the fork will flex under rebound stress an no matter what setting is used for the rebound dampening compression screw it just does not work too much battery weight with the frame to be supported by the single dampener the left side fork tube is empty with a plastic cap. Rear shock is super low grade however works about as well as a springy brick. Rims are not one piece metal not balanced. Bolts are soft an strip easy the one for the rear shock broke the head off the cap bolt so had to run to the local hardware store for some grade 8 bolts to assemble the bike Getting a refund equates to contact amazon then amazon sends to eahora website support which is 24 hours or more at a time per message sent with go back to amazon to take so long that the 30 day refund window closes then stuck with a product that sends parts from china with a lost in the translation process., NOTE shipments from china require 60 days on the average without present holidays in addition to I can not confirm where eahora is shipping the package too with the provided tracking number which updates online at an average for three days waiting period per scan update. I have also learned that this company is a drop shipper for so far from researching 30 other brands of ebikes. Final word for this product is that the warranty is covered from shipping parts from Hong Kong China by which may not be a completely assembled ready to use part for example motor died from factory defect in three days of extended riding time therefore I am require to send the company a video for what is happening to the bike with an email reply from a waiting time of 24 to 48 hours by which there is a very vague response as to resolve the issues therefore I am required to be my own technician an then I am informed after four weeks of waiting to resolve the defective warranty coverage I am not able to process a return to Amazon because I am required also to repackage a massively large heavy bike to be shipped back to Hong Kong China before a refund will be processed. This cost me MORE money out of pocket. Now heads up to all the readers for this Product Line. Here is what Eahora support from both email addresses of [email protected] and [email protected] are doing for support. I am being according to the support messages by which can be as long as three days in waiting, I am being shipped a Hub Motor Core Assembly Not an assembled rear hub motor assembly without contacting me first before packaging and shipping with an included how to install to the existing rear wheel without knowing what the reason for the failure may or may not have been caused by the original hub motor wheel with center hub motor spokes for the rim may have been defective from the point of exporting from the factory with an included instruction video for a hub motor and completely different e bike model which is not in the same orientation of the Romeo Hub Motor Model which is on the left side not the right side. So then now I am expected to pay a bike shop that will NOT work on electric bikes for services and repairs I am also expected to do my own work as a technician, purchase tools to complete the repairs, so then this is more money out of my pocket for products that are drop ship sold from a trading company out of China. The rear motor was sparking an very close to catching on fire which I am pleased that the bike did not cause a personal injury . If I was able to process a refund without all of the amazon and seller services red tape then I would have sent back for a refund by which I attempted to contact the provided sources when there was a problem when the problem first occurred. Instead I am sent in a loop from Amazon to Eahora then Eahora sends me to Amazon.
