First, I would like to say how much my family and I love this 13x13 canopy tent. We have taken it to Panama City Beach, FL for three straight years on several different occasions and have never had any problems with any wind damage. To prevent the wind from lifting it and causing any damage, I purchased four heavy duty canopy weight bags (from Amazon) that has a sand capacity of 240 lbs and attached them to each leg. For extra added security, I have four additional sand bags that I can tie to the guy lines and bury the bags a foot under the sand if necessary. Now keep in mind, I always use common sense if it's extremely windy. It's not worth risking any damage to your frame and canopy. Just last week, we were at Panama City Beach for a week during the Fourth of July and I had someone commenting on our tent and how much they enjoyed it. Each time we visit there, I get compliments on the tent. In addition to a great tent, Eagle Peak's customer service has set the foundation that goes above and beyond to satisfy their customers.

Original post: Three of the screws have fallen out of the frame and we were unable to find two of them. This otherwise excellent product is diminished by the fact that I am unable to find any means to communicate with the vendor on Amazon. Revised post: The falling screws appear in many reviews and seem to be an on-going quality-assurance problem for Eagle Peak. But to their credit they totally stand behind the product. I had just left on a 30-day Road Trip with this product when I had my issues with screws, so it was difficult to arrange for delivery of replacement parts as we were on the road every day and never in one place long enough. But the customer support people gave me the size specifications for the screws that I lost and I was able to find them at a Lowe's somewhere in upstate New York. When we got home there were two large boxes from Eagle Peak waiting for us with not just a large bag of the various nuts and bolts but also various plastic parts that may become maintenance parts. In addition, they included two each complete sets of rail parts, both the side scissor mechanism and the corner mechanism. In my opinion this goes well beyond any expectation I have ever had for a pop-up tent vendor as most of them don't even have a process for getting replacement parts. It's nice to know that I will be able to repair this item as needed over the years. And I thank Eagle Peak for going above and beyond.

this thing is very sturdy and lightweight. it held up in two thunderstorms where a second canopy failed. BEWARE the holes for draining. this will not work great for the canopy cube tents and the water does come thru the holes. this is on purpose but will surprise you if you not watching for them when it rains.

4 stars for the product but 5 stars for the customer service. The video I found online showing how to put the canopy up made it look super easy—just had one girl effortlessly get it completely by herself. However, there was a 0% chance I could get it up without at least one other person. With a couple people and someone tall enough, it really isn’t a big deal to get up, though. The first time using the canopy was a windy day. We secured it with all 8 stakes in the poles and attached to the ropes that are included and it still blew over and broke. I reached out to the company for my return options, and they were super responsive and extremely generous to offer to send a replacement free of charge. They recommended purchasing the weighted sand bag add-ons for additional sturdiness. Product is good. It’s bigger than others we found and appears to be fairly user-friendly. Just definitely don’t use on a windy day as the stakes and ropes included aren’t enough to hold it down. But for a calm day, it should be great.

Purchased this tent for something to be under when it rains or is hot for my son's rugby matches. Was impressed with the quality of the metal components (actually highly impressed), but the canopy corner ripped the first time I put it up, right in the corner as shown in the picture. Other than that, most of the setup would not be regarded as intuitive, but was fairly simple to figure out. I definetly think it is a two person job to set up and pull down, though one of those people doesn't need to be strong or that helpful. Most of the people who saw the tent thought it was really fancy, and except for the corner rip, it would be a five star product. I almost feel like it should be four star given the price, but it was a critical failure on the first use.
