  • Love the gazebo
Material Type: Steel Frame, Steel Roof Size: 10'x12' w/ Walls
The order arrived on time. Boxes 2 and 3 were first. Box one arrived 2 days later. The installation was a long process. My husband completed everything in 2 full days with a few hours of help from me. He is handy but not a professional contractor. I would suggest removing everything from packaging as phase one. Then begin assembly. Check off each completed step. We missed one and had to undo some work to correct. I am enjoying the gazebo. Looks great. Exactly as advertised. ... show more

  • Excellent gazebo!
Material Type: Cedar Frame, Steel Double Roof Size: 11'x13'
The gazebo is beautiful, very sturdy and was relatively easy to construct. My husband and I took our time and it was done in a little less than a day and half. I think that if we had to do it again we’d have it done in less than a day. A huge timesaver is to lay each section out in alphabetical order, get all of your hardware in order and read the instructions carefully before moving to the next step. Also, keep the metal shaded as it gets very hot! I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this to anyone. We’re very happy with it! ... show more

  • The one to get - affordable attractive multi-use gazebo
Material Type: Cedar Frame, Steel Gable Roof Size: 11'x13'
I spent about 6 months researching these types of gazebo/carport products on various websites before purchasing this one on Amazon. I watched prices and compared several dozen of them. I read many reviews before choosing this one. I am very happy with the product I ordered. I wanted something that would serve as a carport to shelter a car/popup/boat. I wanted something that looked nice, not a metal shed type, so I picked this cedar version. Here are some notes I made that might help you decide to buy one too. SHIPPING was very quick, it was here in town at the shipper's warehouse 4 days after purchase. However the freight company somehow didn't find my phone number (seller asks that you include it, which I did) and instead called Amazon for 5 days trying to reach me, which didn't work. So on day 9 I began making phone calls. I discovered that they were about to return it to the seller since they couldn't reach me. Now that they knew how to find me, 2 days later it was here. I am happy I was proactive with this and a bit frustrated that they didn't simply look at the notes and call me. However, it all worked out, though it arrived several days later than it should have. QUALITY is decent...the metal bolts and screws are a soft metal/alloy, make sure you apply pressure when screwing stuff in so it goes in the first time, otherwise some of the heads might strip especially on the hex key bolts. The wood is also a very cheap lightweight and soft wood, however it is sturdy enough once assembled and very easy to work with. Every piece was cut very square, no crowns or bows or bends to worry about, plus it's sanded and smooth, these are all benefits. For the most part everything lined up aside from a few issues I'll share below. A couple of the roof pieces were dented a bit but I didn't report it....everything else was in perfect shape. INSTRUCTIONS are decent but frustrating...about 80% of it is legit but the rest is a bit off. There are some places that the picture contradicts the written instructions, at critical points. In some cases the picture is correct, in others the written part is correct. You have to do some thinking in advance as to how it will fit should you choose your path; choose wisely. Nothing too bad, just do some thinking and outsmart the chinese---}english translation and you'll be fine. When the title (unless they fix/edit it) to this product has the word 'Natrual' in it, you know you're headed into some difficulty. PREPARATION, obviously make sure you have a sturdy flat level surface to install the gazebo on before beginning. ASSEMBLY took me exactly 9 hours 15 minutes start to finish from the time I unwrapped the pallet to the time I cleaned up my tools. I am somewhat familiar with building things and may have moved quicker than the average person. I needed assistance for 5 minutes around the 3-hour mark to get the four pillars standing and attached to one another. It could be done alone with braces instead of a human helper but would take longer to set up. As with any large assembly with hundreds of pieces, this would go much quicker if you had a helper who could unbox/unwrap/do the grunt work of assembly while you read ahead and plan the next step. Also I recommend having a work area to make things easier - I set up sawhorses and made a makeshift table at the install area to lay things out on, organize my tools, etc. I highly recommend you get this going on the front end, it's much easier than trying to work out of the boxes that the pieces come in, much less bending over and such. Also I highly recommend a cordless drill or driver with the appropriate bits rather than using the puny wrenches provided...this will speed things up considerably. I never unwrapped any of the included tools. Once assembled the gazebo is quite sturdy and very attractive, a few neighbors have wandered over and were really impressed and even talked about getting themselves one. Of course it's always great when you see someone else's finished product but when it arrives at your house in 3 boxes that's another story... A FEW OTHER TIPS: (1) Use sockets on the bolts that allow either a phillips head or a 10mm...it will ensure a much better seat...(2) Near the very end of install when you're putting the final horizontal braces on the lower part of the roof panels, some self-tapping bolts may be needed...I did make sure the frame and roof were perfectly square, but despite this some of bolt holes just didn't line up, so I had to use some muscle to align the metal pieces and install a self-tapping bolt in two places...not a big deal, just really the only way to make it work. OVERALL as my title says this a great deal for $1499 shipped + tax (as of 9/23)...with the press of a button and 9 hours of my life I have a ready-to-use and quite attractive gazebo. As mentioned above my use for this gazebo is as a carport and it will be great for this application, though it would also be a great covered area for dining, outdoor activities, etc. I considered buying the wood/hardware and making my own but with the prices of materials these days I don't think I'd have saved much money. The convenience of having something pre-packed with instructions, very little thinking involved, shipped to my house was really wonderful. Time is money, and this will save you both. Great product!!!!! ... show more

  • Awesome Gazebo
Material Type: Cedar Frame, Steel Double Roof Size: 11'x13' w/ Netting
This is a very well designed and built gazebo. Arrived quickly and all parts were in perfect condition. I would recommend this to friends and family. Setup process is time consuming if you want it level, square and done correctly.

  • Money Well Spent
Material Type: Cedar Frame, Steel Double Roof Size: 11'x13'
We have a large deck and enjoy being outside, weather permitting. I searched for a cheaper solution but ultimately decided to spend the money for this gazebo as it was idea size for the space we use for seating. I have no regrets for making this purchase. We sit outside often and we have our children and grandchildren visit almost every Sunday and gather in the gazebo often. It really made the deck useable and a lot more enjoyable. There is just something nice about having a roof over your head. The framing is all cedar, which has natural resistance to rot and weather damage. The vented roof is also nice. We purchased a propane gas fire pit and plan some chilly evenings in the gazebo. It has been nice even during the hot summer and are really enjoying the autumn days outside under the gazebo. ... show more

  • Roof install is horrible
Material Type: Aluminum Frame, Steel Double Roof Size: 12'x14' w/ Walls
I think I seen 4 to 6 hour install and I'm going on hour 8 and it's still not done. The roof design is the worst thing I've ever done in my life. I consider myself handy and figured I could get this done in 3 or 4 hours and that is not the case. There are z clips that have to go on every angle piece of tin and go into a track and all they do is fall out every attempt. Every piece of tin was finally installed after about 4 attempts 26 curse words and a few thrown tools. Do not recommend this to anyone, but it does serve its purpose. Hopefully holds up a very long time. Took everything I had not to run it over with my truck. ... show more

  • Sturdy and looks good
Material Type: Cedar Frame, Steel Gable Roof Size: 11'x13'
Our back patio was full sun so we wanted this for grilling equipment and patio table. The size is perfect. We are 62 and 66 and the two of us were able to put this together. Follow the instructions exactly and it goes together well. It is sturdy but piece by piece it isn't too heavy to lift and assemble. It is packed well and each piece marked. A cooler, cloudy day would be best for assemble because all those black metal pieces get very hot. ... show more

  • Eagle Peak Gazebo
Material Type: Cedar Frame, Steel Double Roof Size: 11'x13'
Customer service has been great, we had a couple of missing washers after doing the inventory of all the parts. Now for the bad, couple of the roof pieces were not cut correctly and the holes were off, not a big deal but had to adjust to get the roof on correctly. We are very happy with the look. My suggestion to anyone purchasing- inventory all the pieces prior to assembly, and lay out all the pieces in order of putting the gazebo together (great time saver). Since it has been raining I did steps 1-5 prior in my garage prior to install day. We had three people to help out, so total time was about three hours from start to finish. This include me fixing the three panels. ... show more
