Exceeded expectations in appearance, design, durability and ease of assembly. My wife and I assembled in three days taking several breaks in the low 90° temperatures. We liked the appearance in the manufacturer’s photos and selected from those photos. Read several reviews and made decision based on both. We knew we would not have help to assemble posts to side and erect frame, but with those items being constructed from aluminum the weight was doable for us. First box of 6 arrived in two days and remaining 5 the following day. The first box contained the roof framework and side structure that connected to the corner posts. Box was burst open on both ends and was severely damaged. After opening and inspecting contents, we found no damage. The remaining 5 boxes arrived with the exception of one of the flatter boxes containing the roof panels with no damage. One of the flat boxes had a couple gouges on the flat side. When opened the roof panels had dents. After evaluating situation, we decided we could use those on side that was not in our view but side neighbor would view. After assembling dented panels on roof, it was hard to find damage. Another persons review said screens and curtains were cheap quality. We did not find that to be true. We didn’t plan on using screens and curtains, but installed anyway and will store during winter months. We are not bothered with insects just flies. After using screens and eliminating flies, we will definitely use during summer months. The zippers work well and slide easily to open and close. Our experience with zippered curtains and screens in the past has been they don’t operate well. The appearance of the finish is very pleasing and attention to detail of trim and exposed fits are above expectation. I did not have enough 6mm X 47mm long screws. I contacted seller requesting they send me 6 to complete assembling roof panels and as I suspected they gave me $15 credit to purchase at local hardware. I’m sure these are packed in China and seller does not have any hardware. Only problem is local hardware stores are limited in selection. I visited 2 hardware stores with no success. I found 6mm X 50 at Lowes that I cut excess off and painted head black to match. Also, I mentioned box damage and the two sheets of roof damage FYI, but didn’t ask for compensation as I informed I could use on back side out of view. They also gave me $15 credit for damaged roof. They responded next day, so customer service responded immediately and addressed my needs. I would definitely recommend this amazing Gazebo. It is very time consuming to assemble, but as other reviews have said, take your time and follow the illustrations and you want be disappointed with this Gazebo. Took a chance and bought the wood framed, steel roof 13’ x 15’ model from YOLENY and could not be more pleased with the result. The only snag was that FedEx completely mangled one of the boxes causing deep bends and creases in every piece of roofing. I reached out to YOLENY customer service and after several rounds of pictures submitted and clearly stating the extent of the damage they shipped an entire replacement box in less than 1 week at no charge. I am very pleased with their solution in spite of the damage being caused by FedEx. I’m pretty handy and was able to construct the gazebo 99% by myself in about 20 hours. The 1% help needed was in lifting the roof-cap frame into position. Despite what some of the other posters said about some of the roof pieces being wood, that was not the case for mine. The entire roof and support structure in 100% steel, which was a relief as I have a large 6’ diameter gas fire pit (300,000 BTUs) inside the gazebo. I ran the fire for 2 hours on high (2’ tall flames) and used a thermal heat gun to gauge how hot the roof got. It maxed out at 148 degrees directly over the center of the fire which, for steel, is nothing. The warmest the wood frame got was 80 degrees. Again, nothing to worry about. After that test, I have no concerns about burning a large gas fire inside the gazebo! FYI, I stained the spruce frame a mocha color to match our other outdoor structures and to protect it from staining and weathering. it looks beautiful. The spruce comes unfinished and looks nice if you like the natural color of wood. If you choose to stain or paint yours it was an easy job for me. The soft, porous wood soaked up the stain easily and finished perfectly smoothly using only a brush. 2 coats and it looks like a factory applied finish. All in all I can say this item exceeded my expectations. The engineering is well thought out and I had zero issues with holes not lining up. It’s built very well and is substantial in its sturdiness and weight. I believe it will hold up for 20+ years easily as long as the stain is maintained. Just make sure you level and plumb the base pillars and you’ll be good to go. For under $1800 it’s a bargain and I think it adds $5K-10K easily to my home’s value. ... show more

    • Sturdy at reasonable price

I live on Long Island NY and wanted something that could last me many summer seasons while withstanding all four seasons. I’ll update the review as needed but so far so good. Bought, built and used during the 2022 summer so far. I’ll breakdown my feedback into a couple of parts: 1. Shipping & Delivery: Seller advised promptly when shipment was sent that it’s 4 separate boxes and could arrive at different times. They all arrived at the same time and days earlier than expected. Boxes are are a little over 100 lbs each so it’s worth being home and having the delivery guy drop them off in the yard where you expect to keep them until assembly. Boxes looked a little roughed up but not terrible. 2. Parts: I know we all want “perfect” parts but we have to be a little realistic. Most of the would pieces were in perfect shape. A few had some small nicks, but in my opinion, acceptable. Everything was complete. 3. Assembly: Definitely a 6 - 8 hr job with 2 to 3 capable people. My tip here is to put all parts grouped accordingly so everything is easily located. We used 2 people putting it together while the 3rd person was coordinating the pieces and next steps so that there wasn’t much down time standing around figuring out what’s next. I thought instructions were easy to follow with the visuals and common sense. To set expectation on my capabilities, I have an office job and don’t do these types of projects often. We had 2 ladders, 2 drills and attachments to help. Final Thoughts: Once assembled, it’s a beautiful set. The curtains for misquitos or for privacy are a nice touch. The 11 x 11 set was a perfect size for what I needed. I will update next summer once it has gone through some vigors of NY weather to see how it has held up and worth the investment.
