I was alittle weary when I ordered the product. I purchased a EAG Bumper in the past and it held up great (I actually still run it on my Jeep). Installation wasn’t terrible but it definitely wasn’t easy if you’re alone. Instructions are rather non existent. After realizing the process it was easy to figure out how to put the rack together with our instructions. The rack it’s self is a good weight to lift if you're alone. I recommend a friend who is gonna be tall enough to lift it up to get on the hard top. One fully installed the rack sits real nice. I was able to climb up and stand on the rack with no fear. I was worried about wind noise at first but after driving it around I really didn’t notice anything. Maybe a small amount of low toned drag. I had an 11,000 mile road trip planned and needed a rack to mount a cargo carrier, my cell phone booster and a few bundles of firewood. This rack looked great online. When it came in it was nicer and beefier than I expected. It went together easily. I’d suggest getting someone to help lift it to the top of the Jeep, I did it alone and it was a little awkward. But I did it just fine because I’m a beast, haha. It has rubbed through the black paint on a couple spots on the top but it’s very minimal. It has not had any issues. This seems very heavy duty. I put the two halfs together on the roof instead of on the ground since I was alone and it is pretty heavy as one. I plan on putting a RTT on it and saw where someone said it's difficult because of the low clearance to the roof, but others have put one on it so I'm going to give it a try. ... show more

Overall pretty good for the price. Directions suck, but two girls installed it tho. Low road noise, unless it’s super windy. I haven’t strapped anything down to it yet.

I like this roof rack, however, the clearance is too low to attach a rooftop tent. I'm not saying it can't be done, I am saying it is very difficult. Install of the rack was easy, directions weren't good.

    • Not suitable for PNW weather. Rusted in 1 month
It holds what I need, install was cake. I installed just 1 month ago and is rusting in many places. It does not hold up to weather in the PNW. I should not better than buy something made overseas. Meh
