The media could not be loaded. My sonic cleaner is stainless steel inside and this tarnish remover will damage stainless steel. So grab some plastic PET number 1 on bottom of plastic containers and cut down to size. Put your jewelry in the plastic container. Put water in the sonic tub but not enough that your plastic container will float. Don’t want it to float. Water has to be in Sonic machine when in use. I’ve cut different size bottles for my jewelry. I went through 2 bottles when I first cleaned all of my silver jewelry. So I’m ordering more. Works pretty well. Some I have to run through twice as they are old and have never had tarnish removed. I bought this to use in my ultra sonic cleaner to remove tarnish from silver. I took of a layer of tarnish, and I did repeat the process as they suggested on the bottle, but it did not remove the rest of the tarnish. You still have to use elbow grease.

After years of using silver polish and cloths, I finally found the perfect cleaner. It doesn't smell as bad as the other cleaners, cleans the first time, and is done cleaning in less than 10 minutes. It is especially great for cleaning jewelry; it gets into all the cracks and crevices without my having to use a brush. I am buying a couple more sets so that I can clean my silver jewelry for years to come. I had given up on buying silver jewelry because it tarnishes so badly. Because of this cleaner, I can buy more, knowing that my jewelry will be cleaned quickly and efficiently. Thanks Amazon for this amazing product.

This product is awesome, I purchase it regularly for work. However the price has increased by over $50 in 2 months. Last purchase was $14.95 and now it's $66. I'll be ordering direct from manufacturer from now on since their prices didn't go up. Funny how prices go up during football season with the influx of new prime customers.... Have to pay for that "Free Shipping" somehow.

I wanted to use my Kendal 9-Quart ultrasonic cleaner to remove tarnish from a wide array of silver items. These include flatware; candlestick holders; casserole lids; napkin holders; and more. I read the directions several times and used their recommended second method of cleaning. This involves putting the solution (undiluted) into a Ziplock bag, putting the item to be cleaned into that, and then putting the entire bag into the ultrasonic tub. I've done this with many other non-silver parts, using other cleaners, and it reduces the amount of solution you need to use while still letting the ultrasonic waves get to the part and clean it just as well as if you'd filled up the entire tub with the solution. The water in the tub presses on the bag and forces the solution in the bag to fill up around the part so that it is fully submerged. I then ran the cleaner, using a slightly elevated temperature of 40 degrees centigrade, for three minutes (the instructions say not to exceed that amount). Bottom line: this stuff barely works, and what's worse, it actually takes the clean parts and deposits spots all over them. This happened on every part, and happened whether I used a brand new bottle, or whether I used solution that had already been used to clean other parts. I tried cleaning over two dozen objects which had varying degrees of tarnish (some hadn't been cleaned for many, many years), and if failed on every single one of them, even those with light tarnish. One of the things I had hoped for is that this would reach into the recesses of the intricate patterns on some of my silver objects. It totally failed to consistently remove tarnish in these recesses. Finally, in order to rescue the silver that I had treated with this tarnish remover (because some of them were covered with a new form of tarnish in the form of black spots and mottling), I had to clean and polish it by hand, using traditional silver polish. I spent a LOT more time doing this than if I'd just started with the polish that I ended up having to use anyway. Don't buy this; it doesn't work.

Wow! I wasn't sure if this product was going to ruin my silver and gold jewelry like some of those stronger cleaners but I am pleasantly surprised! Works wonderful and I just place some of it in an old measuring cup, put the piece of jewelry in and swish it around for a couple of minutes. On pieces that have tarnish inside crevices making it impossible to get to using a wiping cloth, this stuff is amazing! Does NOT damage your jewelry but again, only leave it in for a few minutes. I would say no longer than 10. Works on gold too! I use it full strength then I pour the remainder left n my measuring cup right back into the bottle. Doing this does not affect its ability to clean at all and saves product. Highly recommended! I will be buying more when I need it!
