I was a little concerned with the box condition and the scuffs. It was too close to the event to do anything about it. I can live with the scuffs. This thing set up so fast and easy! Take down was just as fast! You do need two people to grab opposite corners. This will get many years of use.

We used this as a shelter for our dog to use the restroom under so he didn’t get wet . It has held up through ice and snow but we did use a broom periodically and stand underneath the tent pushing up on the canvas to make the snow and ice slide off so it wouldn’t get too heavy. We give this product an A+. (Weights sold separately) Update: suggestions. The roof frame needs extra poles because the heavy rain made the canvas droop and hold water making the hollow poles break. The canvas was still in tact so we kept it for other uses. But to be fair, we give it a B rating since it’s not meant to be semi-permanent or permanent but it’s still great for tailgating. 🏈 😊 ... show more

It was easy to assemble and take down. I used to own one some years ago and the canopy had velcro straps along the edges to hold the canopy in place so you didn't have to remove it for storage. But it does what it's supposed to do so I can't complain to much. I do wish I had just spent the extra money and gotten one with side walls and netting. Something to think about if your buying this and like a bit of pricacy or keeping away the mosquitoes and spotted lantern flies. ** updated review ** in 9 mile an hour winds (per the weather app) the son of a gun slid across the patio and the leg bent. I was changing out the cords that tie it to cinder blocks. Made the mistake of removing them all before I had the replacements. I was able to bend it back without it breaking but geesh. ... show more

Please read entire review. I had an EZ UP canopy that I purchased in 2007 and so long as I used scotchguard every couple of years it was totally waterproof. This canopy was used on very frequent basis and it held up under all reasonable conditions including rain, wind etc. It is still in good working order today except one of the leg buttons started to get stuck. Canopy is looking worn, but still good. So, I decided it was time to buy a new one. Of course I would choose EZ UP again, right? Of course I would after 15 years of great experiences. Well, I ordered the EZ UP Ambassador- model AMB3SBKF10SG. BEWARE...This canopy was purchased in mid April 2022, used first time in mid May. Had some rain, small storm and it did hold up, but because the canopy is no longer attached to side walls of frame, rain would pile up and then dump over edges. Canopy sides would flip back behind frame. Soo, then it was put up at home for family picnic and a small, I mean small rain storm came with some winds...while being staked down and even tied off to picnic table the canopy legs Snapped like a toy from the dollar aisle!! No warranty coverage at all, two uses and a TOTAL waste of money. Whatever EZ UP did as a once well known quality maker of OUTDOOR canopies, has died! They are now a piece of junk maker of canopies that apparently are not made for the outdoors. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY. ... show more

Used this for a beach day. Easy to roll across the parking lot, not too heavy to carry across the sand- great handles. Was perfect size for 6 people. The only bad thing to say is it took some muscle to click the locking pins in place when setting up, but it was doable and pretty easy to take down. It definitely took 2 people to set up and take down though. It's a little tight putting it back into the carrying bag. Overall, it was nice, and I'm happy with my purchase. I bought the grey. It's a nice dark, classy gray. It shouldn't show the dirt. It is the quality for day use only. Not for long term weather exposure. ... show more

This canopy replaced my first generation EZ UP that had poles you needed to put together to hold up the top. This canopy opens and the top is instantly supported with struts from the top of the four legs. There is no center pole holding up the peak. The pull rings and the height adjustment clips are set up well so you should not pinch your fingers. The frame mechanism is greatly improved and no fingers were pinched during set up or take down. Two of us easily set it up and took it down; with the old one if two people tried to do that there would be a lot of saying, "Wait while I move to the other corner. No, don't pull it yet. Ouch, you just pinched me!" The rolling bag is sturdy and the wheels are large so it is easy to pull along. The canopy is heavy to lift so the rolling bag is a needed. I also bought a sidewall and it has a little storage bag which fits inside the roller bag. I bought white; I wanted blue but the Ambassador does not come in that color. I like that it is true 10' X 10' with straight vertical legs. Be sure to get the side wall to increase the shade as the canopy sits up high. It is tall with only two height adjustments: high and higher. Some of the literature says it has three height adjustments, but I contacted EZ UP and they confirmed that it only has two adjustment height holes. The fabric is substantial and it is reinforced in the corners. I did not use it in the rain and it was not windy. We used it to have a socially distanced meal in our driveway on a very sunny day during Covid-19. ... show more
