I bought it because I was attending a Western-themed event and needed to look the part. It totally won me over. The style still isn’t exactly my speed, but I really like the material. The fabric (supposedly) derived from bamboo is very soft, has a nice weight, and drapes really well. And did I say soft? It’s very soft. But not like tissue - it’s definitely robust enough to stand up to a heavy day of pretending to be a cowboy. But would it actually work for a cowboy? Probably not. But it did absorb a sudden heavy rainstorm and dried quickly once I got out of the rain. Overall, I’m actually a pretty big fan of this shirt. Also worth noting: the buttons are actually snaps, and they are made from a white, almost opalescent material. Pretty snazzy… It was actually unexpected. Maybe I didn’t read the description closely enough. (Actually, I totally didn’t read the description at all. I saw that it was in my size, that it was affordable, and that it could be delivered when I needed it and just clicked “buy” because I, being a procrastinator, waited way too long to pick out something for this event and this was pretty much the only thing that looked close to acceptable and available when needed.) If only it weren’t a Western pattern… If you’re looking at the pictures trying to judge how it might fit on you, then for reference I’m 6’0” and 230lbs and ordered XL. It fits great. And I have a great big grey oval face. It’s my best feature.

I really love these shirts. I have three total now and all three are easily my favorite. The two I own are this style. The other is the same brand but a long sleeve that’s a little more formal. They are super comfortable but mostly I just like the patterns. The pictures they give you on Amazon just don’t translate well as to how nice they actually look. I think it’s because the colors are just very vibrant and clean and they don’t photograph well. It’s a huge color/pattern difference over all my other pearl button shirts. They fit well and are a great price for the quality you get.
