I am disappointed it does not have provision for a front basket. It has plenty of speed and power, more than I need. 10 Mph is as fast as I care to go, The front wheel tends to come off the ground if you accelerate quickly, especially if there is a heavy load in the rear basket. A front basket load would be better for weight distribution. The range is good and does not labor on hills. I would like to haul a small trailer for shopping but there is no receiver for a hitch., The under seat storage is nice but still need more. Knowing what I know now, I would have selected another brand.

This EW 36 Scooter has only tacked welds and not welds that are fully welded. I let top mobility know this. Because that is whom I bought it from. I informed them about this dangerous faulty workmanship. But top mobility says it's the manufacturer that I would need to talk to about this issue. Even though I bought this from TOP MOBILITY. Top mobility takes your money then when you see these faulty welding job. And you tell TOP MOBILITY. They tell you take it up with the manufacturer! That says Top mobility takes your money. Then when this issue comes up. They say take up with the manufacturer and top mobility take no blame. But keeps your money!

My observations after 18 months.Lets face it, the hook for this scooter is its advertised speed. They used to advertise it as doing 25 mph but people found out that the speedometer on the scooter itself is off by about 8 miles an hour and complainef so they changed the advertised speed to 18 miles an hour. I ordered mine and brand new with a full charge it will do 13mph-I weigh 165lbs.Because the ew-36 transaxle has single gearing (meaning wether you are going 1mph or 13mph its a single gear doing all the work) it will have difficulty negotiating the same incline a pride mobility scooter does with ease and may actually trip the amperage overload switch.That means you must apply the brake and release the throttle to reset power to the motor and if it happens in the middle of the incline then you certainly will not be able to traverse that incline.This will also happen if you try driving over something as small as a baseball sized clod of dirt on your lawn from a parked position.While the scooter is attractive the body is very thin and brittle plastic.I could go on but suffice it to say this is a very poorly built mobility scooter with a 200% markup.To put things in perspective they are built in China and sell in China for 500 American dollars.They are inflated to $2,000 by the time they reach the US. So unless you absolutely have to do 13 miles an hour I suggest you spend your money on high-quality American built scooters such as Pride. Not only will they cost less but they are far superior. I only wish this kind of information was available when I bought my EW-36

This scooter is fast, fun to drive, has great range and will get you jealous looks. Keep it charged and you are always ready to go. All of that is on the plus side. On the negative side, My scooter had paint damage caused by inadequate protection and flimsy crating. It also had a minor part missing and a flat tire. Contact with the seller resulted in a replacement inner tube to fix the flat and a replacement for the missing part. For the paint damage I only received the advice to buy touch-up paint. The finish on the scooter is high-gloss and attractive. Fixing a problem of this sort in such a way as not to be an obvious repair is not easy. The practicality of the scooter is limited in two ways. The only provision for carrying items with you is a small basket attached to the back of the seat and a tiny apace under the seat. In addition, the maker did not see fit to install an attachment point for a small trailer; nor does there seem to be a way to add one. So, what the buyer is left with is the "sports car of mobility scooters", all fun and little practicality, If you use it to go shopping, you will not be bringing much home with you..

came in time but had a hole in top set. Very good place replaced the whole set not just top. wouldn't buy a Scooter but from here. it came all together and it ran a 19 days before having to charge. just be easy on it until you get the feel of it because its dose of 40 mph on full charge. Have fun and Thanks again for a great deal.
