I can likely think up fifty reasons why a motorized scooter is a bad idea (what, no exercise?). Which is completely irrelevant to the purchase. If you were 7 years old again, would you want one. Yea, so would I. The shipping package was solidly constructed with olden days cardboard with multiple huge staples holding the slaps shut (I strained with a butter knife to remove them). Foam and zip ties holding things from moving on the inside. There was a beautifully printed instruction manual, but a few things did not translate well. It was stated in the instructions (and a warning notice hung on the handle) that the handle riser needed to be inserted in a matching slot on the front wheel riser tube. No provided stud on the riser tube. I think what was meant that the handle riser needed to be as low to the riser tube bearing nut as possible before securing the Allen bolts (Allen wrench thoughtfully provided). The instruction manual also mentioned a display on the handle bar area. No such display on my example. The machine itself was well made and should last a long time. It is reported to have a six mile range. I charged it up and figured out how to start it by using one hand to engage the foot pedal and the other to spin the back wheel. The hub motor on the back wheel whirled nicely. The manual boasted of two speeds, but I could not figure out how to do that (no doubt a simple task for a younger brain). I did not see an easy means of securing it with a bicycle lock and chain, which is a curious omission. A cable could be passed through an opening in the front wheel.     • Very fun scooter for small kids - but charging cord too short
Fun, small scooter for smaller kids. I'd say based on the speed an size this is for smaller kids. It is lightweight, the battery is completed concealed, no bulky battery like some old scooters. Adjustable height handle. The LED lights are very cool. They turn colour based on slow/med speed selection and they go red when you apply the rear-fender-brake. They look excellent when it's dark out. Being entry level, this scooter is not very quick, even in the higher speed setting. Very frustrating is the charging cord is short, you have about 45" of cord. I charge this in the garage and all outlets are 48" high (recommended height for garage/wet areas). So kids have to lift the scooter onto a bench or box to plug it in. This should have a 6' cord so it can reach to the ground of a typical garage-height outlet. Other mix-up is the manual mentions a "throttle" as well as the power button. This was confusing when first reading and using the scooter. There is only one button and it is used for power, change speeds and go. There is no throttle (Sec 5.1 of manual, "How to Ride") ... show more

Well made ✅ Cute ✅ Easy to use/ride ✅ Height adjustable ✅ COOL lights! ✅ There was minimal parts to put together, but you know how instructions are these days, still a little confusing on how to actually work the scooters. This child is an average size 8 year old and the height adjusted just right. He figured out the brake, the foot peddle, what the color lights mean etc., so if the adults can’t decipher the directions, find an 8 year old determined to ride! It says the scooter will go 6 miles, we haven’t tested that yet. Charge time is 5 hours and the instructions say not to over charge it, so don’t put it on at bedtime and leave it overnight. All in all kids are happy which makes the adults happy! ... show more

    • My kid loves this thing
My son is super excited to have an electric scooter. It doesn't move extraordinarily fast, but plenty fast for a young child. The breaks work, the lights work, the motor works on both speed settings, it charges and it doesn't come apart mid-ride so I guess it works perfectly.

Very happy with this purchase. The scooter did not come charged which is fine. Charge time to the full says 5 hours. The scooter work and feels great. It a push to start type of deal. This is great for beginners or for children who are still practicing their balance. The scooter in itself looks nice and I love the lights that go with it. Very good for the price.
