    • Precision, and solid.
A solid PL mount is crucial to have, while I have a few PL lenses that bring up to 10 pounds to the table. The 1/4"-20 connector hopefully keeps the "pull" from the heavy "glass" away from the tiny little Canon R5C. With this camera (R5C), there is often the need to have a battery grip installed. Otherwise, it gets annoyingly short until the next battery swap is needed. Here the screw hole of this adapter is very close to the battery grip. In fact, a micro "cheese plate" is needed; here, DYI is required, but I wasn't able to find one. I wish an adapter would be available. This might not be a problem for other cameras, e.g., the Komodo, which moved price-wise into this territory. It just made my kit about one back-up camera richer. Worth the price. Back-focus was not needed so far, fingers crossed it stays that way. So I'm happy to have saved some money, avoiding more expensive items. The lock is firm, the mechanic is smooth, and the finish is excellent. The packaging is done carefully and provides a good feeling from the start.     • Strong and great Quality
I am always skeptic with adaptors. but this one is just great design and quality. I got it for my Komodo, and works perfect. I will recommend to have it with the Wooden Camera base plate so you can add the base support so it does not move when pulling focus.
