To begin, I am a long time Dyson customer. The performance, reliability and support have been unmatched with respect to vacuums and fans. I can’t say the same for the Lifecycle lights. Son purchased 2. One works. The other doesn’t and hasn’t. Sent back for repairs while under warranty. Returned to him with same issue that tendered the light inoperable in the first place. Waiting on replacement for over a year now. Dyson customer service is unfortunately little more than beyond frustrating. Now we can’t even get a response once we identify the product. As much as I love Dyson, I will not buy another Dyson product until this issue is satisfactorily resolved. ... show more

    • Light turns itself off; customer service not helping
This lamp doesn't seem ready for prime time—it's buggy (turns itself off for no reason), has a few design problems (touch controls are finicky, buttons are hard to press without also touching the power button, you need the phone app to utilize the various modes, etc), and doesn't have wifi support (like even other Dyson products do). It produces a great light, but the implementation is poor. But worst of all, Dyson's customer service has been incredibly disappointing. It will take days to get a response, and then the representative will be more eager to sell you a new Dyson product (20% off!) rather than troubleshoot your current one. I really couldn't be more disappointed. If you want a lamp that stays on, look elsewhere. ... show more

    • Light is fine for 2 years then stops working, turns off on its own
Light works fine for 1-2 years then turns off on its own and doesn't stay on. This is my second Dyson light with this same problem. No customer support. They wanted me to just buy a new one.. these lamps are not built to last.

I bought two of this products, one is desktop, another is standing. The only shortage for the product is too expensive, otherwise so far so good. But it announces the led lamp could be used for 60 years, if so, the C/P value is still not bad. The light is uniform, you could control any color temperature as you like, and it looks fantastic. ... show more
