I tried that and it almost changed my rating b/c I thought that the item wasn't giving what it was supposed to give. The issue was that the items GREATLY impact the sound of the water flow. For best results, I would just let the water run. The product was a lot smaller than I wanted, and so I will probably order a bigger one, but this little glowing ball at the top won me over for keeping it. It's too cute and changes colors. The ONLY reason I'm not giving it a 5-star rating is b/c the flow doesn't seem to change that much between the 3 settings. That's the ONLY reason. Other than that, have fun! The media could not be loaded. I tweaked the water fountain! After using it for a day, the ball stopped rolling. The rolling of the ball is the reason why I bought it. I might send this back now.

The media could not be loaded. So beautiful... Love this... The glass ball and the colored lights are mesmerizing. The fountain waterfall is quiet, I would add a stone or 2 in a couple of the pools to add a little splash for a little more waterfall sound. But, perfect if you want a quiet waterfall... It is in our guest bedroom, which I use at times when the husband is snoring too loud. So it's a beautiful welcome for guests, as well. Also the light is just right to serve as a nightlight, as well... I love it and highly recommend. Easy to assemble and looks easy enough for routine cleaning. Not a lot of crevices... ... show more

The fountain looks good, and I really like the spinning crystal ball on top. I really struggled to get the LED light up into the tower. I was so afraid I’d break it before I turned it on. Finally got it part of the way up and it stayed and works. I like that the pump has speeds so you can choose how much water goes through. All-in-all, very relaxing. My only complaint is that there is no on/off switch. Plug it in to turn in on, unplug to turn it off. So make sure you place it in an area where you can get to the outlet easily enough. ... show more
