The only reason this got 4 stars out of 5 for me is that the edges of the tape come up so it doesn't stay completely flat and will peel up but overall I'm extremely satisfied by this product. I got it on sale for 30 bucks with the 3 rolls tape (1 installed plus 2 in the packaging) but for the price I honestly don't think you'd find a better deal for what you're getting. The print quality has options from Extra Small to Extra Large and in between, you can insert symbols and numbers very easily and it includes a way to cut the tape when the printing is done. Outside of it needing 4 batteries to operate I'd say overall this is nearly perfect. It included a magnetic holder which makes this perfect to put on the legs of my metal desk where I do all my work and is easy to turn on and start typing and printing. I use this to organize anything from stationary to lego parts and everything in between and I'm very impressed and if you don't think you need a label maker think again because as soon as you start to organize things and place things you will find more uses for this than you first expect and it will come to be very very useful and for 30 bucks the value is very high despite the small issues with the tape coming up, I do wish the adhesive was stronger and the labels were slightly bigger (the text is fine) but really I have very little complaints on this. I'd recommend getting the one with at least 2 rolls included cause you're gonna want them before you run out. Using this for things like canning is very very handy and keeping the spice rack all tidy is a huge plus. I'm satisfied by this and we will see how it keeps up over time but for now it's pretty dang good. ... show more

My label maker stopped working so after reading reviews I bought this one. I use it to label my salon drawers. It’s easy and you can chose how big the font is and in what style. So far I’m very satisfied.

The label maker itself is fine and does its job well for the price. I do have one gripe, the wall mount holder it came with has two strong magnets on the back. This seemed great, since I had just the spot for it on the side of a file cabinet and didn't have to drill any holes anywhere to hang it on the wall. The next day I found the label maker lying on the desk with the two little magnets stuck to the side of the cabinet, the stingiest hint of glue residue on each showing where and why the failure occurred. Thankfully it happened to be in a spot where it didn't have far to fall, but save yourself the trouble and possible damage to the unit and don't use the magnets to hang this thing. ... show more

    • The LT-100H Plus - A Very Fine Combo Pack

I ordered this to replace a 10-year-old Brother P-Touch label maker whose main drive gears shattered when the unit fell off my desk. So far, I'm quite impressed with the Dymo LetraTag LT-100H Plus, which includes one solid white and one transparent label tape. It does not include the 4 required AA batteries, but I was able to very easily source them from my own battery storage. The labels I've made for my RC parts drawers seem to have held their adhesion days after I've printed them; your mileage may vary, as others have reported little to no adhesion at all, which may be a result of being given old label tapes. I didn't want to ruin the beautiful woodwork of my house by mounting the storage cradle, so I mounted it to the inside of my computer desk, though its strong neodymium magnets allows it to be attached to refrigerator/freezer doors, smooth steel whiteboards, or any hard metal surface that you can put a magnet on. I tried attaching the cradle to my own whiteboard, but it kept sliding down on, hence my decision to screw it onto my desk. Having previously used a label maker that utilized the QWERTY layout, the ABC keyboard took me some getting used to, but once I got used to using it, it's a piece of cake to use. The text can a little bit aliased on some of the larger fonts, but it's not a big deal, as it's still very legible. Very pleased with the LetraTag LT-100H Plus. I would definitely recommend the machine to others, though I would also recommend that they purchase a set of new label tapes along with it, just in case they received an older tape in the box with the machine. ... show more
