The directions are so funny and so bad but it’s easy to figure out. Super sturdy from what I can tell so far. The chair foam is super firm but I do kind of like it. The poles that are on the back of the chair are hard to slide into the portion at the bottom and are a little off center but it’s on all of them and you can’t tell a ton. Very easy to assemble. These chairs almost don't need instructions. To assemble them, just place the base at a cross (the base is indented) and screw the back on. Then screw the base together at the center. Lastly, invert the chair onto a bar stool over the seat and just screw the base to the chair seat and you're done. My son had a lot of fun assembling them. The cushions are nice and thick and the chairs have adjustable feet to remove any balancing issues and eliminate tilting. The chairs, despite being all steel, are surprisingly lightweight. Assembled fully, they're also very sturdy and can hold a lot of weight. The fabric is slightly on the shaggy side but very comfortable. It doesn't look like the covers can be removed, so I recommend either getting additional covers or a handheld shampoo vacuum. One optional thing I would recommend is getting a small tube of thread lock to keep the screws in, however it'll be at least a year before the screws need re-tightening if you don't use thread lock. I LOVE the look and comfort of these chairs, and they were extremely easy to assemble. I get compliments on them literally anytime we have company and was so happy with the purchase. HOWEVER-- if you have young children in your house, these are not the safest. My daughter and nephew, both age 3, have now tipped these chairs over and fallen. If too much weight is applied to either the front or side edges of the seat, it becomes unstable and tips easily. I am going to try adding grips to the bottoms of the legs to see if that helps, but so disappointed in this particular issue with these chairs. ... show more
