OK this bed jumps off the page for me at how more stylish the actual bed is than in photos online! Easy to put together - sturdy - solid - structurally silent! I have put together many-a-bed like this one, so I knew it would take me no time to put together. So I challenged a buddy of mine, just to see how long it would take a first-timer, following the enclosed directions. It took him 17 un-hurried minutes! I must admit, the included instruction sheet is NOT the best! But, just open it all up, look at what you have to work with, and it'll all make perfect sense! So ... this headboard has classic lines, could be a little thicker (front-to-back), but has a very refined look. The beauty of this linear look in the headboard, is that I can literally work with any other design shapes and styles in the room, without distracting from or to another piece in the room, or in the artwork. This is NOT a busy look! I generally do not get too excited about the upholstered sideboards, but these are beautifully tapered and really add a continuity to the simplicity of the bed as a whole. There were several comments in previous reviews about the bed slats being "splintery". I did not run across this at all. They are raw wood, unfinished ... however, we were able to handle without gloves with no problem. I plan to use this bed with a hybrid coil/foam mattress, with no box springs ... and the height is absolutely perfect with my 12" mattress, which admittedly has expanded to more than 13". The slats and base of this bed more than securely support the mattress and body weight. There are no squeeks whatsoever. I would for the simplistic style and for the money spent, I would give this bed an absolute 10 out 10, with TWO THUMBS UP!!

I got this California King platform bed for my apartment, and assembly was a breeze – definitely a plus for city living where space and time are at a premium. It's sturdy, looks great, and the upholstered headboard is a nice touch. No box spring needed which saves space. It's a bit pricey, but worth it for the quality and how well it fits the room.

The beige fabric upholstered headboard looks warm and elegant, and can adapt well to various bedroom styles. It is also very comfortable to touch, and it is not the kind of thin fabric. The wooden slats support the structure for sleeping, and there will be no squeaking sound when turning over in sleep, which is very plus, especially suitable for noise. The installation process is simpler than expected. All parts are marked, and one person can install it within two hours without additional tools, which is very worry-free. The bed frame itself has a bracket, and the bracket can be put directly on it. No additional tray is needed. The support feels very good, and there will be no sense of depression in the bracket. There can be a certain amount of tray space under the bed, some for storage boxes

This frame is a great value for having everything pre-cut and shaped for you. I would say that you get exactly what you pay for. You'll want to spend time sanding and sealing this wood. It is raw and unfinished for the most part. I'll be adding extra material to mine and I anticipated it was this quality so I'm not upset. Again at this price point it's still a better deal than buying your own wood to make yourself.

Easy to put together and really cute. I like the color and how my bed does not slide on the slats. The box it was shipped in was a bit smaller than I expected so I had worried if I had all the parts but once I opened it I realized all pieces were split up, including the headboard, which is super easy to put together just like the rest of the frame.
