This is a nice piece of furniture, looks sleek, and fits the huge automatic liter box. If you’re not used to putting furniture together, get help. But, if you’re up for the challenge, you’ll need two people. They have everything labeled perfectly, include extra hardware parts (just in case), and the instructions are super clear. Just be sure to check and double check the orientation of each piece of wood. You’ll want a power drill (to help with the many screws, a light (if your drill doesn’t include one), a manual screw driver (for the cam locks), and (optional) an allen wrench bit for speed and ease (though they include a hand allen wrench). I love that they have all the fast caps to cover everything, holes for cords, and the included outlet has two usb charge ports. The cats love it! Seriously, they were so happy to have yet another layer of protection to hide away in and do their thing. It gives us yet another layer of protection from cat litter tracking through the room. The double doors make it easy to reach in and grab the yuck clumps from the litter box tray (which is in the top of our automatic litter box) and change the bag. This cabinet is perfect to hide the unsightly litter box! I had some trouble finding a cabinet to fit my tight hallway and having the enclosure to fit my current litter box with the top entry. The width is about 31” and you can configure the cabinet for left or right side entry. It is tall, sturdy and well made. It took me approximately 2.5 beers (2 .5 hours) to put together by myself. It is heavy and I had to ask my husband to help me lift the bookshelf on top of the enclosed cabinet. I probably could have done it on my own, but by asking for help I avoided any smooshed fingers. The directions are well laid out with diagrams. They also provide an extra bag of spare parts which is a life saver because I always have a loose screw that inevitably will make a run for it to never be seen again. This cabinet looks expensive but at a very reasonable price. It is a great value for the money. My cats took to it immediately. Now to convert them over to a robotic self cleaning box! ... show more

I don't write many reviews, but I am so happy with this purchase, I wanted to share. I have been searching for years for a litter box enclosure with an extra large entry. My husband cut the entry larger on the last enclosure we purchased, but it was several years old and really needed replacing. We have one older, overweight kitty and one tall, muscular, extra large kitty. Both needed the opening in the enclosure to be large enough to keep from scraping the edges when they entered and exited. This enclosure has plenty of room for their extra large litter box and the opening is PERFECT for these large cats. I know the advertising lists this as being used for self cleaning litter boxes and I'm sure that's great, but I am thrilled to have this very nice piece of furniture that fits my extra large cats! It took a little while to put together (lots of pieces), but the final product is reasonably priced, extremely sturdy and looks great in our utility room. I would recommend this to anyone who wants to accommodate an extra large litter box for extra large cats! ... show more

I bought this for a large litter box but not a self cleaning one. I agree with other reviews it does take a little longer to put together it took me about 2.5 hours and I’m well acquainted with putting furniture together. There are parts that a second set of hands make all the difference. The wood parts are heavy and beautiful. It reminds me more of real wood than pressed wood. The stain was beautiful and rich. The instructions were very easy to follow. It is heavy both so be prepared I had my two teenage sons carry it to where I wanted it. The cabinet is large and easily accommodated the litter box we have a top entry one. I found a litter mat also on Amazon to put underneath so that the litter didn’t get tracked out. One last thing to know the door is not reversible it only goes on the right side. All in all I love it and am so glad I bought it. The cabinets make it easy to clean out the litter but also keep it out of sight and out mind and honestly if I didn’t know I would never guess there was a little box in it. ... show more

Bought this to put into our laundry room (thr part that is in the process of being finished) and it has worked out great. We were able to get the litter box put away so it isn't seen, and cut the litter tracking down about 90%. It currently is holding our router, ring hub, and a UPS on the very top shelf. The middle shelf is holding some of the laundry supplies, and the main shelf it just holding a small litter container with some small things that need charged (the litter deoderizer was moved underneath with the box). I put this together myself over the course of 4hrs (i was working from home and taking small breaks from work and working in this). It wasnt hard and the instructions were very simple to understand. One person can get this together by themselves, but you definitely need help lifting the box to the area you want it. The material it is made out of is a higher quality than similar products, and it is extremely sturdy. love how the power has an on/off switch. The only downside are the magnets holding the doors closed. They aren't the strongest. One of our cats is slightly larger, and when he gets out his rump slightly bumped the doors open. We had to buy some latch claps to make sure the door stayed closed - especially with our dog trying to get into the litter box (as all dogs love to do for some reason). The magnets are the only reason it isn't a 5star since I had to modify the doors to stayed closed. Other than that, I think this was worth the price, easy to put together, looks great, helped to organize my laundry room better, and immensely helped with litter tracking and smell (the box doesn't generally smell due to the deoderizer and it being an automatic box, but it did help more). Absolutely love this shelf! We don't have an auto cleaner but it fits the large boxes with lids super easy while making them easy to clean still. I plan to put a litter mat inside but the bottom is easily swept clean. It's Nice and tall with plenty of safety equipment to secure to the wall. Very easy to put together, I did it myself in the course of 2 days (I have an 8 month old so that's why so long). I do recommend if doing it by hand to put in the screws first then again when attaching the hardware as some holes were difficult to get started with the hardware. Also, much easier to place the bottom half and top half on their sides to attach them then left it up right vs lifting 50lbs onto the top of the bottom half. ... show more

2 parts missing or broken. One part is missing the groove to slide another part in so I can't install it. It's just missing the board. Poor quality. One part wasn't included at all. Bad design. The item itself was fine overall, looks a little cheap but you get what you pay for. I would have been fine if the pieces fit together. I tried to contact support but they only offered a return and replace/refund option, which for such a large item is difficult. The box was damaged during shipping so I have no box to ship it back in, as well as the fact that it is a humongous and heavy piece of furniture. I wouldn't be able to ship it back by myself in my car. Anyway. I was hoping that they would just offer to send the two pieces that were missing, but instead I'm stuck with a giant incomplete item. I bought this to house our cat's litter robot 4 and was hesitant to put it together because I didn't think the device would fit in it. Curiosity got the better of me and I spent about 2 hours putting it together by myself (at 6 months pregnant) which was actually pretty easy. I'm weird and actually enjoy building things like Ikea furniture, and if you can follow those instructions then you'll have no problem following these. I will say that this thing is surprisingly sturdy and I love that it has a built-in USB/electrical plug in. It's also very heavy - I don't think I'll ever have to worry about it tipping but I'll need a couple of strong people to move this if I ever move to a new place. And even more surprisingly, the litter robot 4 fits in it perfectly so now I don't have to smell or look at it cycling cat poo anymore! I looked around Amazon and bought a cover flap for the entrance as well which helps eliminate most of the cat box odor. I'm also able to decorate it with some seasonal decor and store books/printers on it which adds to its usefulness and appeal - it doesn't even look like a hideaway for the litter robot.
