Description

The DuroMax XP702HP Gas Powered High Pressure Water Pump is designed to pump liquids higher, further, faster, and harder than any other. Power through fires or irrigate hard to reach areas with dual cast iron impellers that combine to achieve over 115 PSI at 70 GPM that can reach over 250 ft! 3 discharge ports give you maximum output with two 1 1/2" and one 2" discharge port using Universal NPT threading. A Heavy Duty Steel Roll Frame equipped with isolated engine mounts ensures minimal vibration, safety, and security while pump is being stored or while in use. The DuroMax 208cc, OHV, Air- Cooled, 4-Stroke Engine keeps you safe with a Low-Oil Shutoff Sensor to prevent the motor from catastrophic damage due to low oil. Whether you are moving, draining, filling, or spraying DuroMax Water Pumps are there for you. For an irrigation system with 8 sprinkler heads I needed both high pressure and a high flow rate. This pump delivers. It generates a flow rate of 40 gallons per minute with a pump discharge pressure of 60 psi, which was exactly what I needed. The flow rate would be even greater if the discharge pressure was lower (i.e. discharging to atmosphere). Great value compared to an electric pump. ... show more

Ordered a couple of these since I live in a brush fire area. Just received the first pump few hours ago. I put oil in the engine with the included angled funnel and filled up the gas tank with 91 octane. After priming the pump with some water I yanked the starter cord. To my surprise the engine started on the first pull! The pressure and amount of water these things put out is impressive, you better hold on to the hose firmly. I didn't even want to like this thing. For the price I figured it was going to be a pile of junk, and not put out enough water for what I needed... Well I was wrong. This thing with a 1.5 in hose and a decent combination fire nozzle cranks. Was never able to figure out of the 70gmp rating was at rated pressure or at open flow, but since it gets after it with a nozzle rated at 75 gpm I'm going to say that its at pressure, only seems to get the slightest pressure drop at full fog pattern, on straight stream you better hold on. The one thing you have to be careful with this pump is that it is not a self priming pump and for good performance you need to make sure you have tight suction hoses. Still have yet to see how it holds up long term, but so far no complaints, just make sure you are holding on to the nozzle when you throttle it up! ... show more

Pumped 1 hour then pressure went from probably 70 psi to almost nothing. Pulled pump apart to find casting marks still on impeller’s and aluminum shaving inside pump housing. Reassembled will see if it will pump. Very poorly made , motor runs great

Don't have it yet but I bought this to power a dry-lander dredge suction nozzle so I can move some material. I hope it sucks real good. I already have a DuroMax hydrid generator I roll out and plug into a transfer switch when the power goes out around here and it works great. Bought this thing and use it for only a couple of months. One day it was working fine. I turn it off and try to start and found that the string wouldn’t pull. Took the cover off, it’s not the string but the inside of it. It’ll do one full turn then get stuck. Check, nothing stuck inside the water pump either. Can’t figure what’s the deal imo. ... show more
