    • Functional, but a little expensive
I've used this light set both individually and connected for under-hood lighting. One nice thing about using them individually is that when one needs to be charged, you can use the other one to keep working. The magnet is little weak and the body pivot doesn't hold its position. I found that it worked best if you could attach the base to a piece of steel and rest the body on something to hold its position. Working on brakes, I attached the base to the inside of the fender or to the strut, then rested the body on the top of the steering knuckle. One nice feature is that the base rotates. So once you have it attached, you can rotate the light to any angle easily. Other work lights I have don't have this feature. The light has 3 brightness levels. To turn it on, you have to click the switch twice. Each click rotates through the settings (off-??-hi-med-low-off). I don't know why it takes 2 clicks to turn on. Another odd thing is that the power switch and battery indicators are on the bright side of the light, so you blind yourself turning it on/off. It would be better if they were on the dark side of the body. The USB-C charge cable charges both lights with 1 USB-A connector, which is nice. The description says that the 2 lights connect using a carabiner, which is not true. They connect by sliding the 2 ends together. Overall, a larger work light with some nice features, but a little pricey. ... show more

These are my new goto shop lights. Mainly because I can not only stick them to any metal surface, but I can also separate them if I need to get light in a small space. I can also hang them from the built-in hook and swivel them. I can get light anywhere I need and with the three light settings, I can dial in my light as dim or as bright as I need. ... show more

The Durapower LED work light is made up of two pieces that can be used together or individually. Each section measures about 19 1/2" long (counting the pivoting head) x 1 1/2" wide x 1 1/8" thick. At one end of the light is the pivoting head that has a strong magnet built in, a fold out hook, can be rotated 180 degrees and pivot 180 degrees (with 8 click/indents). The two sections connect via a track grove that resembles hot shoes on cameras but larger. Each light has a three level brightness, on/off switch and 4 LED lights to reflect charge level of the batteries. The lights come with a single USB-A to a double USB-C charging cord (no A/C wall charger). I like everything about these lights, use as one or individually, the brightness, the pivot head to get the light where you need/want it, the brightness of the light, that they are rechargeable and very versatile. I also like the being able to attach it with the hook or with the magnets. I do think they are a little expensive, but due to their uniqueness they can ask a little a more for them. ... show more

    • Nice lights, but a mis-matched pair
Like these lights and have used them a few times in various situations. So no issues with the brightness, the construction, design, or price of these at all. They work every bit as well as expected. EXCEPT... I somehow ended up with a pair that are the exact same configuration on the ends where they connect together. One won't slide into the other because they are the same type of end, so there's no proper groove for them to become one! Sadly, this means they will only be used as individuals, and not as a combined pair. This oversight by whoever packaged them, results in loss of a star IMO. I should take away two stars, but they will work for me, and I do like them. If I really do need them to become married, there's always duct tape to the rescue! ... show more

I bought two of these lights for a work setting for a project in running. I can’t speak to how well they work. The shipping never went through. Amazon says they could not deliver due to shortage of inventory but when I go to the item it says there’s one more in stock. I hope the second one I ordered right after the first makes its way to me.
