The directions were worthless. I left the legs fairly loose, but when I got to step 2, the ring wouldn't fit between the stool legs. And they got scratched trying to attach it (imagine my delight). I had to take a leg off, then attach the ring, then put the leg back on. They are pretty sturdy though. ... show more

Great choice for bar stools! They’re reasonably priced but feel very sturdy and look beautiful—perfect for my home. During assembly, I followed another reviewer’s tip and loosely attached three of the feet and the circular support first, then added the fourth foot and tightened everything at the end. They shipped me used stools that had already been put together and taken apart. They were chipped and dinged up. Also they’re taller than they say so. They don’t fit at a countertop bar. They’re too tall and I can’t return them because they came from China.
