The directions were worthless. I left the legs fairly loose, but when I got to step 2, the ring wouldn't fit between the stool legs. And they got scratched trying to attach it (imagine my delight). I had to take a leg off, then attach the ring, then put the leg back on. They are pretty sturdy though. ... show more

I ordered two of these barstools for my home. When they arrived, some of the legs looked scuffed and stripped where the screws go. After contacting the seller, they promptly responded and offered to refund or send two new stools. My two new stools came in great condition and am very happy with them!!! The quality is what you would expect for the price. They look fine, but the bottom circular bar was really difficult to get in. If I would do it again, I think attaching the legs to the lower circular bar would be the first step instead of the second as it says in the guide. I’m so surprised at how good quality these barstools are for the affordable price. The real wood is thick and sturdy, and everything was easy to assemble. They are so sleek and high-end looking! And bar stools are NOT easy to find!
