    • A LOT of chair for the money.
Color: Red Fixed Arm Number of Items: 1
Yes, attaching the arm rests is a bit of a challenge, mainly because of the angle the screws go in but if you take your time it's not that big of a deal especially when you consider the thing only costs like $35. So, what do you get for your $35? A lot. This is a really nice chair that's well made and comfortable. The hardware is quality and the included allen wrench is more than adequate. I got it for my hobby room where there's not a lot of space and I couldn't be happier. My only suggestion is to swap out the plastic wheels with the aftermarket "rollerblade" wheels especially if you have hardwood floors because the plastic wheels will mar the wood. ... show more

Hi. I read through the other reviews before placing my order for this chair and saw how many commented in the difficulty in assembly. I just got mine together and I was prepared for a bit of struggle. It turns out that it wasn’t impossible, but-yeah- it was difficult. I’ve put together a lot of products over the years; some go together so perfectly and some(like this chair) feel like they have pieces with the pre-drilled bolt holes that were meant for different chairs. Don’t get me wrong, it looks great assembled, but it felt like the arms were drilled for a different back and seat because lining them up to get the bolts threaded was a chore. I don’t know if I could have done it with just the little hex wrench they included, but luckily I have an electric screwdriver with a hex head bit. ( I got that here on Amazon, and I highly suggest purchasing one if you don’t have any screw or drill power tools) it helps immensely in applying pressure while rotating until the end of the bolt found the wonkily placed interior imbedded nuts. That said, it took me about 20 minutes to get together. The bottom plate bolts were pretty easy to line up and the wheels and support just click together. I like the look of it- I got the red one and it’s pretty neat. The comfort of the seat is give a 7.5 out of 10 as far as office chairs go. The height adjustment is fine, but I would only marginally say this is a “rocker” as indicated in the description. It tilts a bit backwards but not enough to call it a recline. But, it’s lightweight with a small footprint so there’s only so much physics that could be done in that regard. I had some credit, so it only “cost” me 25 bucks and that seems well worth it. Would I pay 50 bucks for it, naw. 40 is okay, but you might find a more upscale chair for that at the thrift or in marketplace…I don’t want to bother with either of those options so this worked for me. Just please heed my advice about a power tool or your hands will hurt for awhile trying to eff with that little hex tool, and I care about you. ... show more

    • Garbage - do not buy.
Color: Red Fixed Arm Number of Items: 1
Y’all should know that the curvature of the plastic arm pieces battles with the curvature of the seat itself, and since the nut in the seat is seated so low, and the threads start very low, the screw cannot engage with the threads, so it is not actually possible to assemble it. Could humidity be a factor? Sure! And if the Z25 machine screw were a few millimeters longer, it might have caught anyway. But it isn’t. So they saved a few pennies per screw, and made furniture which cannot be built. It cannot be assembled. Avoid it. ... show more
