My wife loves it. It does exactly what it is advertised to do. Don’t expect it to keep ice frozen after you make it. Most do not. You have to transfer it to the freezer. I’m happy with the instructions and ease of use. It is quite compact and looks good on the countertop. The ice is nice. You will need to break it up after you’ve put it in the freezer as it is wet and it all freezes together. I don’t blame this on the product, it’s just the reality of making ice outside of your freezer. My family are all in awe and needed to watch and understand how this machine makes ice. It became a major topic of conversation for a few days.

Estoy super feliz con mi Nueva compra, esta super Linda y util esta pequeña maquina de hacer hielo, cuanta falta me hacia para llevar la botella de agua al trabajo, aunque es una Buena botella termica y con su recubrimiento aislante, cuando debia de trabajar hasta 16 horas seguidas a medias del turno de trabajo ya El agua no estava lo suficientemente fria y me encanta El Cafe frio y no podia hacerlo porque mi congelador de mi nevera es pequeño y no tenian El suficiente espacio para poder hacer cubos de hielo, estoy super feliz con esta maquina de hacer hielo, es la mejor inversion que he podido hacer, desconocia totalmente de la existencia de esta pequeña maquina de hacer hielo, curiosiando en Amazon la descubri y no tarde en hacer El pedido, la he recibido rapido y me llego Bien protegida, en Perfecto estado....muchisimas gracias a Amazon por El excellente servicio y al vendedor... Works very well-6-7 minutes for 12 pieces of ice. Size of the ice, not so good. Small is about the size of my pinky and the large is 50% larger than the small. The basket is easy to take out and dump into my fridge/freezer. The ice will melt quickly if you don't pull them out. The ice is made around pegs, you can actually watch the ice forming. So the cubes have holes in them. Pictures show the size of the large ice in my hand, then the "freezing tubes". I don't really understand why the top has to be clear thin plastic covers, if they were more insulated the device may work better. Funny coincidence, my wife just had jury duty and the jury room had one of these sitting then running... Con: I don't know what kind of blue tape they used to "hold things together for shipping". It took me 10 minutes to remove 2 pieces of tape!

I've waited two weeks to review this ice maker just to be sure we like it, and WE DO!!! We've debated getting one for years. We loved the small foot print and the great price (under $50.) It's very quiet and very fast. Ice quality is very good. NOTE: At first we thought the cubes were a bit thin and small; but to our surprise, they actually get bigger and thicker after going into a container in the freezer for a few hours! No complaints at all, five stars.

The media could not be loaded. I absolutely love this ice marker but it stopped working after using it for 10 months so disappointing. It says the ice tray is full but there no ice in the tray.

This is a nice little unit that makes ice cubes relatively quickly, but don't need a lot of ice. The unit would be great for camping (as long as you have power) or occassions where you need a little extra ice and don't have time for your refrigerator to turn out a big batch. My first unit arrived and was easy to set up. Be sure to clean the internals well, and follow the instructions to throw the first few batches out. After getting it ready, I filled it with water and turned it on to make large ice cubes. It started up and churned a batch of 9 round cubes about every 8 minutes. Once the bin is full, a sensor shuts it off. However, after my unit shut off that was it, it would not continue making cubes. The control panel would not respond, even unplugging for a few days did not help. I returned the first unit and exchanged for another one. The second one started up and worked great as well. Happily, it has continued to work well for many batches of cubes since then. My first unit must have had some internal problem, but the second one worked just fine. Keep in mind that this ice maker does just that - makes ice. It does not make any attempt to keep the fresh ice from melting. You can't run it and leave the ice for use tomorrow, as the ice will melt. However, the clever design is such that the melted ice goes back into the water container, and when it senses the ice level go down, it will start to make cubes again. In a way, it will try to keep the ice full, but keep in mind it won't keep it from melting otherwise. The cubes come out nicely rounded and will fit the neck of most water bottles. Due to the way the cubes are formed they are not as dense as regular ice cubes from your refrigerator, and are opaque in appearance. Not a big problem, but you will use more ice than normal as they don't last as long in your drink. Overall, I really like this ice maker and plan to use it on my next camping trip to keep a constant supply of cubes for my water bottles. It's minor flaws don't outweigh the convenience of it! One last point to consider, this unit uses a new "climate friendlier" refrigerant called Pentane. Although it may be more climate friendly, it is also highly flammable and there is a large warning label on the unit. Avoid damaging the unit, and all should be fine!
