To start, if you’re considering buying this bed frame then you need to have a realistic expectation of what you’re buying. This is a mass produced, inexpensive bed frame which is great for teenagers or young adults. Recognizing that it’s mass produced, you have to accept that it isn’t going to be comparable to a $500 + frame. I’ve setup a few of these frames that are in the $100-$300 range and for the money this is one of the better frames I’ve come across. Annoyances: 1. Frame is a little wobbly with the box spring (this frame does not require and is more stable without it, but for now we put it on) 2. Had to return the first one because one of the components was not drilled (remember it’s mass produced so it’s bound to happen) Returning the first one and setting up the second one went without a hitch. Hints: Keep the bolts with their bag that is lettered. When setting it up, count the number of bolts you have and then look at the inventory list to make sure it is the correct one because there are two that are close to the same size, but it’s the counting of them and checking with the inventory that will make sure you have the correct piece. ... show more

Received 4 letter A parts rather than 2 letter A and 2 letter B parts. We just flipped the bars to avoid the hassle of sending it back. Still holds and fits mattress almost perfectly. Easy set up, but requires a drill. The middle bars provide a lot of support! Came with some extra parts, but I think that we were missing a couple screws for the main 4 support bars. ... show more

The bed frame overall does not tighten very well and is wobbly. The ‘n’ part bolts do not screw onto the screw far enough to make the bed frame stable. I will likely have to find bolts in a hardware store. It is disappointing.

there are a lot of parts and pieces, so be prepared. if you are comfortable putting together things like this, it shouldn't be too bad, but beware to anyone who thinks it's just a couple slats and some studs. there are connectors and size ranges that are important. but, with that said, when you know what to expect, it does eventually come together. with a slim and trim profile it boasts a little over a foot of space beneath the bed. the lack of headboard and low profile seem to be waiting for all the ornate detail to come together around it. not sure how i feel about one of the main pillars being in the center, but once you know it's there, maybe, it will become like a reflex to avoid it. a pretty sturdy frame once assembled, all things considered. ... show more

Less is more is what my son keeps telling me. We got him this frame and it works really well. Nothing fancy, which was exactly his specifications. Price set for the product is great, the quality is also really good. The shipping time was quick, just be careful lifting as it is a heavy product.

Let's be honest, why are bed frames so dang expensive compared to mattresses?? Regardless, an opportunity came up to try this product and I have to say it's been solid so far. Amazon rate features: -Easy to assemble, 3/5: This product comes recommended to have two people to assemble in which it'll take about 30 minutes. I attempted it solo and it took about an hour. There are a lot of pieces so it's best to have a working area to layout the items by labeled-pieces to easily follow the assembly instructions. Having had bed frames in the past, this product was a bit strange as the actual slats of the bed frame are in halves rather than a single piece running across. Additionally, the quality gives up a bit of tolerance and a rubber mallet was used to hammer in pieces without causing damage. -Sturdiness, 5/5: Despite the slow process in assembling the product, it's held up surprisingly sturdy. -Value for money, 5/5: Circling back around to it, it's crazy how expensive bed frames have gotten. If you give up a wooden frame, metal frames like this product are the "cheapest" bed frames you'll find available as they're easily manufactured and shipped. Of the various metal bed frames on the market, this product is competitive. This metal bed frame is sturdy and a good value for money.
