I bought this for my wife as a Christmas gift. I didn't know what to expect so I was going off of other reviews, and until she opened it I was dreadful. (I've purchased items before and made her cry, in my defense I didn't know petite was small, I thought it meant cute, and it was 10 years ago) When I wrapped it, it was very soft. When she opened it she was very happy at the design and color scheme. She loved the length, the softness and it fit perfectly. I've heard two people compliment her on it and one had to know where she got it. I sent them the link. She stated others have complimented on it too. She is very happy, which makes me very happy, and she is now looking at other colors to buy. The one and only complaint she said she had was that it didn't keep her warm. (She's usually cold anyway, and it is 27 degrees outside.) It is a thinner material not like my pea coat, thicker than flannel, but not as thick as an alpaca blanket. (I may get beat here,) but she has a larger belly, and this was roomy and fit her very well. It honestly looks really nice on her. (for the record, we are not fat, we are just easy to see, sometimes we're funny) She is 5'9 and the length was good, she typically wears an 18 pants and XL tops. I absolutely love this jacket. While it's lightweight, it's still quite warm. It's very comfortable and soft. No itchiness. I wasn't sure that the style would work for me, but I'm very pleased. I’m 5’11 over 200 lbs. This hits me at my knees, slightly lower. I wear this in the fall in Michigan. I’ve worn it with cropped tank. It’s a little scratchy in the arms for that. I’ve worn it with a sweater as well. Never buttoned it all the way. Get compliments on it. Washes up nice

    • Best Shirt Coat to Slay the Day
J'adore my shirt/coat. I was was hunting for an oversized long, plaid shirt that was warm, and this checked all boxes. Speaking of boxes, it is a very boxy style and does not provide ant real "womanly" shape. I was delighted that the material is far thicker than I expected and the colors in item #2Brown are very creepy fall vibes (my total jam). With my combat boots and sunglasses, I feel like I can take anything on when wearing it. It has become my super hero cape with a collar and sleeves. Even though weight and height don't provide much in regards to each person's wonderful and unique sizing, for reference I am 5'5, and under 110 pounds, round in the tummy and long in the stems. The XS is very large on me, comes down to my knees, and has plenty of room should I become a bigger, better version of me. If you've bought one and love it, I am thrilled for you. If you have one and don't smile in it, then it wasn't meant to be and I hope you find a garment that makes you want to punch the day in the face. Stay wonderful! ... show more
