    • Worse Customer Servicer Ever!
The heater arrived with a broken log. Rather than wait for a new one after having to send the broken one back, we installed it with the broken log. Fast forward a couple of months, the thermostat assembly malfunctions. The unit works but it's either all on or all off, no control over temperature. Called the company for a new thermostat and they will only send a replacement if we send the malfunctioning one in first and wait for it's replacement. It's January in Maine. We don't want to be without the heater for a month. Completely unacceptable. ... show more

It heats well, but has sudden "BURSTS" of flames that shoot out! It has been very difficult contacting the company for repair.

The heater works well and the installation went according to the instructions. There is a small dent on the front left side of the heater but we installed it rather than attempting to return it. I gave it four stars instead of five because it was obvious that the dent was present before it was packaged. It should have been caught by their own quality control. ... show more

    • Hard to ignite
This was a little difficult to install. No remote if you were wanting one. Nothing in the instructions said anything about having a screw up the ignite hole. Had to tear the fireplace apart to figure out why the fireplace wouldn't work. Gas was coming through the line so we knew that wasn't the problem. Finally found the screw in the ignite hole and removed it and it works great. Heats very well. ... show more
