  • Great Airbrush. Compliment it with good paint.
Size: One Size
I don't think it's possible to get a better airbrush for less money. It's very well built. Easy to use, disassemble, reassemble, clean, etc. It works great out of the box. My only recommendation to anyone getting into airbrush painting is to really pay attention to the brand of paint that you use. The quality of the paint is probably more critical than the brush itself. ... show more

  • Great Iwata Airbrush at a resonable price
Size: One Size
This is my third Iwata airbrush and I used it a day after I got it. I ran some Vallejo primer through it to prime my F-16 model. I cleaned the needle point a couple of times and it ran well. Then I cleaned the airbrush, but not the needle and it sprayed just as well as it did the first time I used it a day before. After that use, I cleaned the airbrush and pulled the needle out the front. There was paint on the needle that I cleaned off and oiled the needle and insured that the passages were all clear. Very easy to clean and work with. What is amazing about these Iwata airbrushes that it continues to flow even when the inner part of the needle has some paint on it. I am very impressed with this new unit and now have a great arsenal of tools to do my hobby work. The price is great as other Iwata airbrushes were more expensive. I recommend this unit. ... show more

  • Great product for the price
Size: One Size
Excellent airbrush, worked flawlessly. Was very easy to use and the clean up after I used it was very easy. I would recommend this airbrush for everyone that is involved in model building. In the past, I would spend money on the cheap $25 dollar airbrush and they would fall apart after 2 or 3 uses. This airbrush is made of high quality materials and is very durable. Worth every penny. ... show more

  • Perfect main airbrush just needs one thing
Size: One Size
Perfect as a main airbrush for scale models, it can do some level of detail work, but .5 needle airbrushes are best for broader spray patterns. I have this airbrush and also a Tamiya spray work spr fine with a .2 needle for the small details, both are built by Iwata and both are incredible. The only problem I have with this airbrush is the fact that unlike the Tamiya branded one it doesn't come with a trigger limiter adjustment on the handle, I can't tell you how incredibly important this feature is to me now after using it, now I wouldn't use an airbrush without it. The bright side however is that the handle is interchangeable between both airbrushes since both are made by Iwata. So if you have another airbrush made by Iwata with this feature, you may be able to swap handles. Although I highly recommend this airbrush especially if you can get it under $100, I would to find another Iwata made airbrush that has the adjustable trigger limiter on the handle if you can, or maybe you can get it after market or as a stand alone part? I know that some of if not all of the Tamiya airbrushes and Mr. Hobby airbrushes are made by Iwata. Iwata 100% makes top quality products and I'm very happy with them and will likely be using both of these airbrushes for many many years. ... show more

  • Been Working Flawlessly Been Working Flawlessly
Size: One Size
As a beginner - again- Been many years since I was very avid at it, and had many problems with an initial low cost model, it's been a night and day difference. I can spray a color, clean the bowl, spray a little cleaner through it and ready for the next color. Good for area and stencil painting which I do. Only clogging I've had was with one brand of acrylic paint, the other quality acrylic I have doesn't have any problem. Been a very good experience using this gun ... show more

  • Newbie Airbrusher, Love This Airbrush!!
Size: One Size
I am new to Airbrushing so I am on a steep learning curve. I started out buying a Master Airbrush pistol style and have fought with inconsistent airflow and paint thicknesses, generally not a good atomization pattern. My goal was to be able to do some customization of WWII RC Aircraft. I struggled for weeks trying to get it right and figure it out. finally I read some reviews on the airbrushes and a lot were raving about the Iwata brand. So I finally decided to give one more shot at it or just hang it up on airbrushing. I ordered this Iwata and received it this morning. Immediately out to the shop and gave it a try. I am astonished out how much a difference getting a high quality airbrush made. I used several different thicknesses of paint and different air pressures and this airbrush performed well in all respects. I now have full confidence in my tools to do the customizations that I need to do. I had tried to do the fine lines like the youtube videos show and they were perfect with the Iwata ( Could not do them with the Master). The broad width of pattern was very nice and even for large area coverage. ... show more
