Bought this for my mom b/c her old kitchen stools were getting so raggedy. She’s been looking for a swivel chair w/arms for years! This was perfect for her! The grandkids put it together in no time! There was a piece of an O-ring that was optional according to the directions. it was missing, but not needed. We tried to call customer service, but it was Christmas Day. Mom loves it! She’s just under 5’ and weights about 100 lbs. The size is perfect for her. I’m 5’2 and feel like its just a tad too small for me, but otherwise that’s my only complaint if I had bought it for myself. It’s pretty and accents her house well!

The chair is very nice quality, and comfortable...BIT Brownish/Black is Black not what is pictured on the e web ad....If you want Dk Brown don't order Brownish/Black. ALSO....not mentioned in the video..There is a Black hard plastic cap over the blue hydrolic button....It has to be cut off with a sharp heavy knife. It is on to prevent it from moving during shipping...Overall very nice chairs for the price..

I bought two pairs of these. They just arrived this morning and I just assembled them so I can only review that much. I don't know yet how these will hold up to use. These are a nice design but the quality control is typical of inexpensive products made in China. The two most noticeable things are the footrests and the arm padding. I've included photos of each of my four stools showing the inconsistent positioning of the footrest on each. One is acceptably straight and aligned with the seat. The other three were manufactured with the footrest rotated slightly to the left. It seems these are slapped together quickly by hand with little regard to lining things up properly. You'd think they'd use an assembly jig to keep things consistent but obviously they don't. It's not terribly noticeable when the stool is assembled but it's very noticeable to you as you put them together and then you can't unsee it. There's no way to fix it either because the footrest is welded to the tube that's welded to the flange that mounts to the bottom of the seat. It's that assembly that's out of square because it's manufactured to a standard of "eyeball it close enough" and the people eyeballing it apparently don't have a good eye. The other issue is the flimsy tube of material that covers the arms. It can be easily slid off and it seems sloppily sewn together. I don't think these sleeves will last long. That said, these go together pretty quickly and easily with just three simple steps. The only difficulty was that each stool had at least one hole where the fabric on the bottom of the seat interfered with the bolt threading into the threaded insert on the seat bottom. It's a bit finicky but if you wiggle the bolt while pushing with the included hex wrench it will eventually thread in. It's just another example of the production slop that characterizes these stools. Do I think they'll hold up? I'm hopeful but not confident. They don't seem like they'll fall apart but the fabric on them seems thin so I question its durability. It is a sort of microfiber fabric that mimics suede. It's soft and feels porous so that's probably what will be the eventual downfall of these stools. Despite the sloppy manufacturing inaccuracies they do feel sturdy and stable to sit in. They seem comfortable enough for having breakfast or lunch at the kitchen counter. You probably can't find better quality stools on Amazon without paying significantly more. Would I recommend them? Probably not but I wouldn't tell you to stay away either. They're adequate for the purpose but no special value.

Easily assembled and look good. The fabric on the armrests often end up on the floor which is irritating and the swivel doesn’t seem to stay level as you rotate. Besides that it was a good purchase for the kitchen island
