I do not have a ceiling light in my bedroom. I have grown sick and tired of the dull, low lighting from table lamps. They just don't cut it anymore. I can never see anything, and my room feels gloomy. I was looking for a floor lamp to solve this problem, but all the lamps in the stores were so boring and plain. I wanted something fun and decorative. I didn't just want something only for the function. I wanted something that is also visually appealing. This was it. I honestly don't think the photo in the amazon listing does it justice. This lamp is absolutely stunning. Everything feels very high quality and stable. The base is solid. The metal is all smooth and uniform. The light is amazing and vibrant. It is everything I ever wanted. It was super easy to assemble once I actually read the instructions. It is very important to read the directions. Skipping a single step can make you have to restart. I definitely recommend this lamp. It is well worth the money. You need this. 10/10 recommend.

Assembly was easy and took just a few minutes with only one person. There is a single-sided piece of paper in the box with instructions -- be careful when opening the box because I ripped the instruction page opening it up. I like the design, and the included bulbs get plenty bright. In theory, I like the positionable arms for the bulbs, but in practice they only work if they're straight up or straight down. Position them anywhere else and they will immediately start to droop. But if you're ok with a more standard orientation, it's a nice lamp and pretty reasonable at this price point compared with the competition.

The lamp came in parts with a set of instructions on how to put it together and it didn't take long! I love that it came with working lightbulbs! it turns on and off by the step button on the base. The knob on the pole controls the dimmable lights and it looks beautiful. I have the lamp standing in a corner next to the television and it's perfect lighting for watching tv. I can turn the dimmer switch to the high beam which also makes it a great reading light. It's attractive basket shades fit in nicely with my modern decor. I would definitely recommend! It's a great price for such a nice lamp!

This is a nice lamp for smaller spaces; it has a much smaller footprint than other standing lamps. That being said it is a little light, therefore make sure it is in an area it won't be knocked over by a child or animal. My floor is pretty uneven and so the lamp is a little wobbly without a really heavy base. I really like the look of it and I am a sucker for a lamp that displays patterns on a wall and ceiling and this one does a great job of that. The head of the lamp is also very adjustable, much more than most, allowing you to greatly change the angle of where the light falls. It also comes with a very nice light bulb; with lamps like these where you can see the entire bulb it makes it much nicer to have the clear Edison looking bulb, so I really appreciate that. The cons for me are the following. Mine once tightened all the way has the cord sticking out the front of the lamp and not the back and so I can't hide the cord but it is also in the way, you can't change the direction the cord is coming out without making the lamp loose. The cord on my was very marred and a little bit compromised in all the areas where the housing was rubbing on the cord prior to me receiving it. When putting it together you must also take great care to keep the cord straight when screwing together the post so that the cord does not twist inside. The one I received also had some scratches through the paint and the gold paint was coming off in flakes.

This was so easy to put together. The lamp included it's own light bulbs which was fantastic! I assembled the light in less than 10 minutes from opening the box to putting the light bulbs in. The light was very sturdy and felt high quality. The colors looks really great and I love that the gold was a brushed looking finish as it elevated the look of the lamp. The lamp isn't heavy overall considering the size. The base is heavy, but that's expected as the lamp has arms and needs the bottom weight to keep the lamp upright. From the photos you can see that the light is fairly bright and comes in the daylight color. It's also dimmable (see the tiny knob in the second photo) which is perfect since I don't want that bright of a light every time I turn it on. Overall, it's a great value for the money.

This is not your average floor lamp! It’s so good looking and really a step up from a traditional lamp with a cloth lampshade. The foot switch is well located along the cord to allow it to plug in and still reach the switch even with a chair in front of the lamp. I love the gold/black combo and the Edison bulb. The head can we rotated to meet your needs. This lamp really shines!

The design and construction of this lovely floor lamp are excellent. It was very easy to put together that I didn't even need to read the instruction manual. Despite not being particularly weighty, the lamp seems solid. I appreciate the step power button and like the dimming feature. It was nice that LED light bulbs were provided. This floor lamp was built with a modern aesthetic in mind; its shades are adjustable and may be adjusted up or down. The paint job could have been enhanced but it is still satisfactory. For the price, I believe it is worthwhile to purchase.

I am so glad I decided to try this lamp. It looks amazing. It was super simple to put together. I didn’t even need the directions. It’s pretty self explanatory. The hardest thing with the construction was making sure that the wires fit inside the tubes flat. Once I put it together and turned it on, I was hooked. I want one for my bedroom now. I love how it looks both dimmed and bright. It also has an on/ off foot pedal on the bottom wire. I can’t state enough how much I love it!
