  • Smart design saves time
Uncapping the honey-filled cells in our frames before going into our extractor is easier with this product. We used to do the uncapping over jelly roll pans that ends up being very messy, with one end of the frame sitting in honey, and having to offload the pans regularly, filtering the honey from any debris. This holder fits our 5 gallon buckets perfectly, and now, we can skip the pan altogether. Our filtering basket fits nicely under this holder, aiding in quickly separating out debris. When we are done, we set the holder outside to let the bees take whatever they want, and then wash the holder in hot soapy water. This plastic holder is thick, smooth, sturdy, and so functional compared to our former approach. ... show more

  • Works with 5gallon buckets and makes cleaning your frames easy
I finally got to use this. I got it before my hives would be be ready but I got to use this and let me tell you. It's super easy to use. I can prop the frame up on the holder and then just scrape. It made it so easy. I didn't have to try to juggle it on the lip of the can. I didn't have to try to figure out how to hold it. And it cleans nicely. It is just a piece of plastic, so it's lightweight. But it's pretty sturdy and clips on the bucket. I clipped it on twice and took it off tice. It didn't break or crack. It's pretty durable. It fit on both my Lowes bucket and harbor Freight, so I think any 5 gallon bucket would work. It functions just the listing says it will. It's bright yellow, which I get, it's for honey! But I wish it was a different color so I could see pieces of honeycomb or anything that still needs to be cleaned off. Good value ... show more

  • Handy, Stable, and Surprisingly Versatile for Honey Harvesting
This uncapping tank holder is a great addition to a honey‑harvesting setup. It fits both round and square 5‑gallon buckets, which makes it easy to use with whatever you already have on hand. The frame slots hold hive frames securely, keeping them steady while uncapping and helping keep the workflow smooth. The ABS construction is durable, easy to clean, and holds up well to sticky honey and propolis. It doubles as a scraper tool too—useful for separating boxes, lifting frames, scraping honey caps, propolis, or even cleaning out debris and small nails. It’s one of those multi‑purpose tools that ends up being used constantly during inspections and harvests. A practical, well‑designed piece of equipment that makes uncapping cleaner, easier, and more organized for any beekeeper. ... show more

  • Heavy duty and very convenient for uncapping
This is made from heavy-duty material. The plastic is thick and does not bend easily, which is exactly what I want in a tool like this. The uncapping holder fits really well on standard round buckets. I tested it on two different round buckets, and it fit both very well. One bucket had slightly thicker walls, so the fit was a little more snug, but it actually felt perfect. The other bucket also had a good, secure fit. I did not have any square buckets to test it on, but from what I can tell, the designers did a good job getting the measurements right to fit most common containers. This tool adds a lot of comfort and convenience during honey harvesting. I normally use a board with a screw in it to support frames while uncapping, with the frame sitting inside a bucket. This stand allows me to keep the frame above the bucket at a more ergonomic height, which makes the job easier and cleaner. The stand actually holds the frame well. The frames remain upright even hands-free, but I would still support the frame by hand while uncapping. The would stay stable on the bucket while uncapping honeycomb and does not feel like it is going to slip off. The honey season has just started, so I do not have full honeycomb frames yet, but I could not wait to try this tool. I tested it with empty comb frames, and it held them securely. I will update my review if anything changes once I use it with full honey frames. The honeycomb stand can hold both deep and medium frames. For around $12, I think this is a good deal for a simple but very useful beekeeping tool. This is a great simple tool for a backyard beekeeper or anyone extracting a small number of frames. ... show more

  • Works perfect
This bee capping station is very high-quality and a great addition to any honey harvesting setup. It’s sturdy, well-made, and makes the uncapping process much cleaner and more efficient. Whether you’re a professional beekeeper or just getting started, this tool is incredibly helpful. It fits perfectly on the free buckets you can get from most grocery stores, making setup simple and convenient. Cleanup is much easier, and it has made the entire honey extraction process far more enjoyable. I would highly recommend this capping station to anyone who keeps bees and wants to save time while keeping their workspace clean. ... show more

  • Great Niche Tool!
We're new to beekeeping, still learning our way and I didn't even know this existed! I have it all set up, ready to go, just waiting on the bees to do their thing! What I can say so far is that it is lightweight, but very sturdy and well-made and fits perfectly on a five gallon bucket. Obviously really simple to use and perfectly suited for its task, and unless we expand our backyard operation by tenfold, this is a one and done situation so it's for sure a good value, I can't imagine it'll wear out before I do! ... show more

  • Works amazingly well and super simple
Pretty cool concept. The idea is simple. It's just one piece. But it's remarkably helpful with staying steady and minimizing loss when harvesting honey from your frames. I'm s new beekeeper and have been slowly gathering up all my supplies before I get my first colony here soon. My neighbor is a seasoned keeper and has been guiding me through the process. He has been doing it for decades so he's got a lot of old items that work, but I've been curious about modern upgrades. He just puts a board with two nails in it across the bucket and the nails are measured to go around the outside of the bucket to keep it from falling off. I thought that was clever. However I wanted to find something a lil more elegant, easier to clean and better balanced. So I found this tool. It acts similarly as the board but it's non porous so I don't have to worry about contamination from the aging wood board. It's easy to wipe off with a silicone spatula to salvage every bit of honey. It's also easier to clean off cause it's not got nails sticking out of it to be weary about. It's a huge upgrade and now my neighbor wants to steal it haha ... show more

  • Nice piece of heavy duty plastic that does the job
I have several 5 gallon pickle buckets that I snagged when I used to work in the food service industry, and this bucket shelf works with them. The bucket shelf is made of heavy, thick plastic and does not bend and attaches to the buckets i have very securely.
