Operation of the extractor is easy as well. It’s going to make our honey extracting sooo much easier than it has been previously, with a smaller, manual extractor. We had to contact the company due to a lid that was damaged during shipment. They were courteous, responsive, efficient and expediently sent us a replacement for that lid.     • JUNK!!!! BUYER BEWARE!!!!
Bought this 5 weeks before pulling frames to extract honey. I didn't turn on unit upon purchase. It was assembled and stored until needed. However, it will not spin at all!!!! Their is power to the unit but it won't spin!! I reached out to Honey Lake about the defective unit but apparently since it juat passed their 30 day warranty they didnt give me the courtesy to respond!!! The unit doesn't come with any possible touble shooting instructions Now I am stuck with a $300 can with a useless motor!! ... show more

I received this as a gift and the plexiglass came broken. I can’t seem to get a hold of the manufacturer to get a replacement part but other than that it works great! We did have to bolt it to the floor to keep it from walking but that was our only complaint once we got it fired up

Honey Lake went above and beyond by sending me a replacement lid when the original broke during rough handling from shipping even though it was past Amazon’s window for refunds. I attached mine to a wooden triangle. this makes it easy to hand truck and increases stability only modification I made. New Plexiglass has arrived and installed. Extractor is working great. This is the 4 to12 frame extractor. Its heavy duty. Make sure to distribute the weight correctly. The extractor arrived damaged with both plexiglass lids broken and it would not turn on, likely the shippers fault and not the seller but in less than a week they got me a replacement that works perfectly. On top of all that, it’s a great unit for the price, would easily be $1000 at any of the beekeeping stores near me. ... show more
