Got this precisely cuz it has a shorter optic cable, and don't have to worry about Android updates bricking it. Got stuck in B/W mode, but this unit is pretty quick switching front to side. Havn't used the vid mode yet. Still had mostly charge when i got it, but this looks like a bleed down to 50% system to protect battery. Thats a feature, not a bug. Wanted to point out that i found this for storage, and it works great. Has seperate divider to keep screen from unplugged cable. I had purchased a slightly cheaper one of these and it was okay, until someone left it on and the battery died. It couldn’t be recharged. So, I got this one hoping it would be better and rechargeable. It is! And the picture is far more clear! But the price is still fantastic! And it’s rechargeable! There are so many uses for such a thing! We’ve been able to use it to determine if wood bee holes were still active before plugging them, found where my dryer vent was disconnected in the wall (preventing a fire for sure!), even used it on a drain to see why it kept getting stopped up and saved the cost of a plumber. I love this thing! The picture quality isn’t perfect, but for the price, it’s more than sufficient! I think if you’re using it professionally and need to see a lot of detail, it might not be ideal, but unless you need a lot of detail on something really small, it is fantastic! Maybe one of the best purchases I’ve made as a homeowner!

Lost I bolt while working on my cars engine. Thought it might have dropped into the engine through the exhaust manifold. Scope came overnight. Batteries were charged and the scope has a bright, clear color picture. I was able to get the camera down each exhaust port to ensure nothing had dropped that could damage my engine. I managed to find my missing bolt with the camera which was buried under the engine mount. For the price you can't go wrong. The only problem I see is the included mirror attachment is useless has no discernible image. Hook and magnet seem fine. Adjustable brightness and image rotation are great. Free two year warranty was an added bonus. Great buy.

Does the job that I purchased it for. The camera and display are definitely not 1080p as advertised. In fact, I would guess it's more along the lines of 480-720 at best. The product works, it got the view that I needed and assisted me in my project. The price was right and worked. If you need high resolution purchase something else, but if you need the basics to get the job done this will do it.

Great picture. I like that the camera unhooks from the screen so you can use it with any camera that has a usb type plug. It comes set up so you can start using it immediately. No waiting for an app to download and going through the steps to set up an account before you're able to use your camera. The light on the camera can go brighter or dim down.
