UPDATED REVIEW June 2025 (1.5 year later): GREAT BUT.... It's BROKEN! I have a special cover, an external screen protector and the original screen protector it came with inside, AND YET... 1 drop while I was on a call and the internal screen is no longer functioning. Impossible to even turn the phone off. Random applications opening, dialing incessantly with no control. So IT IS VERY FRAGILE!!!! Some functionality remains from the outside screen. I'm not even sure it can be fixed... That's a lot of money going down the drain for less than 2 years of use. I have to buy a replacement phone AND pay to see IF it can be repaired... While the phone is wonderful, It's not worth it due to its extremely fragile nature Took advantage of a significant discount. I had been eyeing this phone for a while and thoroughly researched Youtube videos for reviews, comparisons, and setup tips. No regret. I wanted a small phone that can fit in pockets or small purse that took excellent photos: Does that. Previous models didn't close tight once folded and I felt could get caught in things in the mess of my purse. This one closes tight and yet is very easy to open. The cover screen is super convenient once you download the apps recommended by Youtubers. The ability to use the phone closed, open, or at an angle is also very convenient. Battery life is rather good (followed the battery saver recommended). Paired with a minimalist clear matte cover + a cover screen for the outside screen (purchased on Amazon): all fit absolutely perfectly. The inside screen already has a soft protection. Love that it is seriously water resistant. Before a phone was just a necessity, but I actually love this one.

The media could not be loaded. I'm writing this review in the hopes that you won't make the same mistake I did. I purchased two of these phones during Prime Day before my kids. I had my reservations but their mother pressured me into it. When they came, the kids were happy and everything seemed fine right up until last week. Being kept in a case with a screen protector on, never dropped, exposed to extreme heat or submerged in water, The lower half of my son's flex screen started to glitch turning completely black or completely white. Have to contacting Samsung, they recommended that I take the phone to a local repair shop, the closest one being about 20 minutes away. In doing so yesterday I learned that Samsung is not honoring the warranties on these devices with these repair shops. All the other repair shops within a 50 mi radius said the same thing, that they were not taking Samsung warranty repairs and the ones that did refuse to work on this particular model because Samsung knows that they are defective and will decline to pay for the repair. This is highly disappointing from one of the world's leading electronics companies and one with such market share and brand recognition. After contacting Samsung again to let them know that the stores were unwilling to make the repairs based on their own subversive warranty practices, I was informed that the only other option was to ship the phone back to Samsung, leaving my Son without a phone for whatever period of time it takes for them time it takes for them to either repair it or ship out a replacement. Obviously going a week without the device he relies on to communicate with friends and family as well as his school is the least ideal option for an over $1,000 product that suffers from a known severe design flaw. As a multi-decades long Samsung loyalist, I'm greatly disappointed at the lack of quality control and and they're poor application of customer service, particularly when dealing with a known issue which should honestly prompt a recall.

I have been wanting the flip for so long and I finally took the leap. I'm so glad I did. Right off the bat, the only con is the slight crease. It doesn't bother me at all, but I can definitely feel it, and can definitely see it in some angles. Also the screen protector can be somewhat difficult to install. Pros: Battery life is great, camera is amazing, the screen is super responsive/smooth, and the front screen is such a cool feature, and so useful. I find myself flipping the phone shut as soon as I'm done using it and that's really helped me with my screen time. Sort of out of sight, out of mind. And because I can flip it shut, I can tuck it into smaller spaces. It even fits in my front pocket! This is unheard of for me. And the phone cases?? So cute. I love this phone.

I got this phone over a year ago and I still love it! The only issue that I've had with it so far was that the bezels cracked and I had to replace them. I am someone who does tech fixing on my own when I can and am able to and I just replaced the top bezel because that's the one that cracked out on me. I think that Samsung should have made them rubber bezels instead so that they would actually last longer. I did also replace the screen protector because it started getting bubbles where the fold is and that was an easy fix. I know not all phones are perfect and every one of them has their flaws. I love how this phone can fold and I can put them in small areas and it doesn't take a lot of space. I was an iPhone user for 6 years and I knew it was time for a change and I loved it. I don't know if I'd ever want to go back to a non-folding phone.
