These speakers slap when it comes to the sound. Quality is great. Only downside was the mounting holes in my dash are slightly bigger. Made it work with an adapter. Very clear and hit every note.

The good: speakers sound great on a motorcycle with minimal space for install. The bad: The item was damaged on delivery, the box had been damaged but the shipping box was OK. The theater was slightly bent as was the grill so they did not sit properly together. When trying to install the ring on the grill around the tweeter snapped. Being cosmetic I didn't want to ship the whole thing back and will deal with knowing the grill is broken. ... show more

Style: 3.5-Inches
It is as if they are made for the stock 3.5" speaker brackets. You will need to drill the 4 holes for the screws since the mounting points are not the same as the stock stuff, but there is enough material in the stock brackets that you can just drill small holes and the speaker will screw in without a hassle. I was even able to reuse the wires that came off of the stock speaker plug so i didn't need to cut any wires on the harness side. You will have to cut off the speaker wires from the speaker, but if you ever wanted to return it to stock you can just buy the stock speakers with the brackets used from somewhere out there, I'm sure. Just make sure you run some felt or foam tape around the edges and over the screws, so they don't vibrate against the door panel. Now sound quality wise, these are far, far better than the stock stuff. They output really nice subtle treble and have far better midrange sound than the stock speakers the stock speakers totally blow out the upper midrange, but these tone it down to perfection. I prefer these over the infinity reference speakers I had before mainly because the treble isn't super blown out because these don't have a tweeter on them, so the highs are quieter, which is fine since there is a tweeter nearby in the a-pillar to make up for that. Really happy with these and if you're also looking for an upgrade over stock that isn't going to snap your wallet in half, get these things.
