I bought this mattress because of the reviews, but honestly almost cancelled before it arrived because I thought, "how good can a bed in a box really be?" Well, let me tell you, this did not disappoint! First of all it said it takes about 72 hours to completely decompress, but really it only took less than 10 minutes! There was NO smell and it had the perfect amount of support for me. Not too hard and not too soft. My body feels so much better and I look forward to sleeping each night now after spending the past year on a Tempur-Pedic, which was not a good mattress for me. It’s great. No odor upon opening. Very good quality. Bought to go on my daughter’s platform bed. She prefers a firmer mattress but says it is very comfortable. Doesn’t hurt her back. She weighs about 100lbs as a petite adult. Would be good for a child’s bed.
