I'm very pleased. For the money, it hits. I'm still surprised sometimes by the impact I can get out of just this, and I've been pushing it for months and had zero problems. Fits great too under the F-150 back bench seat.

I was uncertain to purchase, but I read some reviews and researched on youtube. The box fits perfectly under the back seat of a 2018 honda ridgeline. I just add a hi low converter to the factory subwoofer wires and disconnected the noise cancelation box behind the glove box and no issues. Just nice clean bass with factory radio ... show more

Am presently surprised of how this little 19inch bumps lots of kick makes my factory sounds 90% better. Only problem is i should of got the 12inch cause it's smaller than u thought. I highly recommend 4ppl with limited space but looking 4power

    • Huge disappointment
I purchased this for my wife for Christmas. She was using an 8 inch sub with 100 watt amp that she had picked up a little over a year ago. The 8 sounded decent, but not what she wanted. It was only 180 bucks so no big deal. I bought this to replace the 8 thinking it would hit a good bit harder. I installed it today and boy was I wrong. This barely hits at all.the 8 produces 3 times more bass and it's a cheap one. I will be returning for a refund. This was my first DS18 product and probably my last. ... show more

    • Don't let the size fool you.
I was shocked how much bass this small speaker/amp combo puts out. It fills in the bass perfectly I have it paired with ds 18 door speakers and tweeters. I just placed it in a SUV between 2 captain chairs, still tweaking it but sounds awesome.

Easy installation, love the fact that the amp is built in. I will say, don't use the high inputs or you will be let down by the sound. put in a signal converter and hook to the RCA's.
