Took a screened in gazebo with this rug and a few inflatables and some solar lights to Girl’s Camp last week. We were the envy of all the campers there. People came by to take pictures and I expect to see several more similar setups next year! The nice thing about the rug was even the girls who sat on the ground had a good place to sit. Nice and dry and soft. Also, it cleaned up beautifully when I got home. I threw it into my washer, which might not be recommended, but I did it and hung it over my fence to dry. Probably could’ve just vacuumed it but I was in “clean” up mode and decided to go hard. Worked out beautifully and I will be buying more for my regular tents.

I took this Mat on my motorcycle along with the weight of a good sized tent and other gear and it was well worth that effort of the extra weight. I attached it to the front of my large Marine backpack and used it as a back rest, so that was an added benefit. The Mat is rubberized on the back side and a “felt” like substance on the front. I have not yet had to clean the Mat off but others have stated that they use a water hose outside and it cleans up nicely. I had to cut the Mat because it was too big for my tent’s sleeping quarters and it cut nicely with an average size scissor. I plan to use the small cut off piece for outside the sleeping quarters to help with tracked in dirt when I car camp, I suspect that that piece will need cleaning more often. The Mat collects small grains of dirt and "holds" it but larger pieces easily sweep off using (in my case) a backpackers broom and dustpan. On pack-out, I folded the dirt inside the Mat and shook it out, outside the tent. This Mat gives you the utility to keep dirt off your tent floor, keep it from tracking all over the tent, added protection to the tent floor and gave the inside of the tent a very nice comfortable homey feel. If you have a pet the Mat seems to hold on to hair so it might be more difficult to remove then common dirt. I used a cot and a chair during camping and the Mat gave extra protection to the tent floor and neither cot nor chair “slipped” around. The Mat is not terrible heavy but I would not recommend carrying it on my back with the rest of my gear very far. This not being a fault of the Mat just the nature of how it is made. Delivery was very fast and cost was reasonable for the quality of the product. I have not "hosed" it down or even tried to machine wash, as I believe the instruction said I could. I highly recommend this product for camping where weight is not an issue or you are willing to carry extra. Be mindful of the possible pet hair issue.

I'm really glad I got this tent carpet, after debating about foam tiles I thought this would be easier and actually cheaper while providing as much if not more comfort. I think that was the right choice, it folds up in a very compact package and comes with a carrying handle so doesn't add that much bulk to your load. Once on the tent floor, it keeps things soft and warm and dry, so much so that I didn't realize a puddle had collected on the floor of my tent until I was packing to leave. I think it kept the inside of the tent a little warmer, also. Once I got it home I let it air dry, vacuumed it and folded it back up for the next trip. Very handy. Only negative, this from the glamper in me- wish it came in something besides that industrial charcoal grey.

We got this on a whim but it has become a staple in our car camping line up. Its easy to put away and put out, it insulates the floor and makes it very nice to walk on in the tent. It fit our Nemo Aurora 4P perfectly but if you have a different tent the material is easy enough to cut to size. The bottom is a plastic or rubber material so water does not pass through. One of the other features that I find very useful is it keeps the tent clean! When we are breaking down from camping we each grab a side of the carpet and take it outside of the tent to shake off all debris keeping the inside of the tent free of all of that.
