These drumsticks are well built. I have been using them for about 2 months and they have not chipped or splintered. They are smooth but not slippery. The color is also nice and hasn't faded. This is a good buy and I highly recommend them.

The drum sticks are without a doubt, the fanciest set of sticks I own. If you are anybody, other than the drummer, these will never really be seen or appreciated, the beautiful workmanship that went into the manufacturing of these sticks is next level. Attention was given to the finish on these sticks, from the choice of woods to the smooth sanded finish. Very nicely finished. The multi-colored stick is well balanced and feels great held in your hand. Whatever the style music you play, from jazz to country, or classic rock to metal, this is a great versatile stick, and in the right hands will make great music. Although the sticks are a little lighter than I usually use. That isn't really a problem, these are perfect, if you are using the sticks on an electronic drum kit. Play a live kit? That's not a problem either. Just hit the drum harder! The drum stick is as important to the drummer as the drum itself. The Dida brand stick may be the stick no one has heard of, yet. They have the quality, feel, and are a real work of beauty. They look like you spent serious money on them, but you know you didn't. If you don't have any room in your drum kit stick bag, I suggest you get rid of some of those other sticks and make the room for your new favorite drum stick. As a drummer in with 25 years of experience, I can tell you this. These sticks will probably last longer than your band, they always do. I recommend you grab yourself some Dida drumsticks. At this price, these sticks are a great deal and a great value. A lot of bang for the buck! (Pun intended). Now, get out there and play!
