  • Best sticks on the market !!
Color: Wood Tip Size: Four Pairs Style: Classic, Attack 5A
Shira Kashi aka Japanese white oak, is so durable it’s crazy!!! They don’t chip or shave off as easily as traditional hickory stick. They have a different feel to them due to the denser wood material. Overall best sticks on the market for not that much more price range wise than a traditional hickory made sticks!! Well worth the money !! I still have my first pair of Promark Japan Oak sticks since the summer of 2020 that I still use today !! I use the 5A and 7A woodtip. Highly recommend!! ... show more

Great weight and feel to them. Very strong and durable. Does not chip away as fast as other wood types.

  • I'm surprised more drummers don't use oak
Color: Nylon Tip Size: One Pair Style: Classic, Attack 747
Not only more durable but much better feeling most importantly. The rebound you get from oak is so much better than hickory. Its probably a faster rebound but mostly its just a much stronger rebound. I would be willing to be if you tested it, more of the energy you put into the stick is retained than with hickory sticks let alone maple. That means oak is more efficient. Plus its harder and definitely more durable More expensive but luckily I play on an electric kit so I dont break sticks. Its been years and I still haven't broken a stick on my e kit (I have switched sticks a few times though) ... show more

  • Just great sticks.
Color: Wood Tip Size: One Pair Style: Classic, Attack 727
There's nothing like a Pro-Mark Shira Kashi Oak drumstick. If these 727s feel good to you, you won't be unhappy with how well it can help your playing.

  • Pro-Mark 7A Oak Drum Sticks offers Perfect Weight, balance, durability and good reach.
Color: Wood Tip Size: One Pair Style: Classic, Attack 7A
For this being an oak wood stick, this Pro-Mark 7A offers a perfect weight, balance and reach without causing fatigue, and, while slightly heavier than standard Hickory 7A drumsticks, it can even be we’ll suited for Jazz. Great for developing finger conditioning, control and speed on Drum Practice Pads. Haven’t worn it yet but expect it to provide the durability associated with Oak but wonder if it is prone to splintering as some woods do. ... show more

  • Solid with great rebound
Color: Nylon Tip Size: One Pair Style: Classic, Attack 747
I've been playing Promark 5A hickory forward sticks for years, and decided to give these a go. Great sticks. In comparison to my usual stick, these are just a smidge heavier, a quarter-inch longer, with a bit less taper, so they're even more forward-weighted. Same great feel in the hand -- the lacquer coating of Promark is probably the biggest reason I love this brand's sticks over other brands. Durability has also never been a big concern of mine with Promark. I would definitely buy this stick again. I only docked a star because the nylon tips have a gnarly ridge around them from the manufacturing process. I can see these ridges on my other nylon tip Promarks, but this is the first time I've gotten a pair where they can actually be felt with the fingertips. Not wanting to tear up my drum heads, I was able to smooth them out pretty well with my fingernails. I'd rather they just be made smoother from the factory, especially on a premium-priced stick. ... show more
