Arrives in a flat box, you assemble the lampshades yourself. Not complicated. Very shiny gold on the inside. The harps for the lampshades are black, as are the frames. Reasonably sturdy. Good value for the price point.

The gold lining inside the shade also creates a beautiful reflection inside which is great since the shades are black and only have small holes for light to shine through. This creates a very nice ambiance in room. These come disassembled and you assemble them is SUPER easy. These lampshades are really beautiful and add an elegant touch to the room. The design looks even better in person, and they were very easy to assemble. The quality is decent for shades you assemble yourself, and they feel sturdy once put together. The thickness is great thanks to the linen layer, and the brightness is perfect—not too bright and not too dim. At the price I paid ($30 for the pair), they feel like a great value, and even at $40 they’re still reasonable for the look you get. My only complaint is the hardware color mismatch—the harp and finial are silver while the shade hardware is white, which stands out more than it should. Overall, I’m very happy with them; it’s just a small design oversight that keeps them from being perfect. ... show more

This was so easy to put together and gave the right effect.I was looking for which was a really warm glow. There are cutout patterns.The outside is a flat black and the inside is lined with a reflective brassy gold material which gave me the warm glow.I wanted.
