Never in a million years would i have expected to be able to assemble a lamp shade. Very unique engineering to ship and save room. Easy to put together. They do have a nice glow. My only beef is that, even though the dimensions are listed, and i had a rough idea of the size, the pictures they provide do give of the impression that they are larger that what i measured. They are very small, and not work well with most end table lamps. For the price, they would nice if they were bigger. ... show more

    • Bit too small for my liking
This comes unassembled. Takes a minute or two to assemble it. Never had to do that to lamp shades. They are bit small for my liking. But they are made well. Fabric looks and feels nice. They still fit on my night stand. But I will be looking for something larger to replace them with.

I have 2 table lamps that are rather tall and I wanted to downsize their lampshades. The old shades are a cute flared drum style, but at 18 inches wide, they take up a lot of space. Thus I ordered these much more petite 12 inch traditional drum lamp shades and they are wonderful. These are some good quality shades, and were easy to put together. However, my lamps are white and these shades are a beige linen-like print. Though very lovely, I didn't think they looked cohesive with my lamps. Yet. Luckily, the shades are versatile in style, so I elevated their look by gluing on some fabric pompom balls. The results are better than I envisioned. I love how the shade and lamp look together now.
