I got this drone for my friend’s kid, Koiyashi, and he absolutely loves it. It was his first real drone, and after a little practice he was flying it around the backyard without much trouble. The screen is really convenient since he can see the camera view without using a phone. The drone is small, lightweight, and easy to carry around. He especially loves doing the flips and recording little videos. The obstacle avoidance is also helpful while he’s still learning. Overall, a really fun gift and easier to use than I expected. Koiyashi has already taken it out several times and still gets excited every time he flies it. Definitely a good choice for a beginner!

The camera provides pretty good image quality, and the screen on the remote control makes it much easier to see what the drone is recording while flying. The controls are responsive, and the drone feels stable during flight. For the price and all the features included, I think it’s an excellent purchase. Highly recommended

For the price, I was not expecting a Cadillac of drones but being able to fly more than 5 minutes and not crash or take horrible videos would have been nice. The quality of the hardware seems pretty solid but the video quality is very grainy. I still cannot just take a regular picture yet either (user error). I also cannot find any specs on how far it can fly away from you before it decides to just take a nose drive or just drift off that you cannot recover it until it hits an obstacle. The app is worthless so don't waste your time on that one. Honestly, if the drop this thing took didn't screw up some of the blades, I would entertain the option of returning it but I would not do that to my fellow consumer. Live and learn I guess.
