I bought this about two months ago for the purpose of getting into shape without having high impact on my knees and so far I love it! The suction cup works great, I'm using it in my garage on a smooth concrete surface and it suctions OK. Granted I'm not a professional boxer so I don't know how the suction holds up against professional power punches, but the average shopper on Amazon will enjoy this. The material is easy to clean by simply wiping it down and that makes cleanup that much easier after a heavy workout. The bag itself has just enough softness to make the punch experience easier on the hands. I'd still recommend buying gloves before using though! The bag is held up by tensioned springs, I thought that was brilliant when I first unpacked and saw this. It's a great way to absorb the shock and quiet way too. I don’t have somewhere to conveniently hang a heavy bag, this standing style is good substitute. I bought this item for personal use at home since I stopped the membership on an expensive kickboxing class and just do the moves at home. I have it on smooth surface in the basement, easy to set up. I filled it with water but you can also fill it with sand. Due to my current fitness level, the water gives me more of bounce which in turn gives me less potential of my injury. Also, despite having filled it completely with the water, it keeps moving around every time I kick or punch it. I can kick the heck out of it and it still barely moves.it provides good stability. Wearing boxing gloves while punching it to protect my wrists. It is sturdy and I feel great after working out with it. Good way to take out stress. Padding is nice, doesn’t feel like punching a wall like the sand filled bags, even with hard blows. The only thing I recommend is that I should put padding underneath the base so it is not to loud. Overall, phenomenal bang for the buck. Easy to assemble. Base came about 4 days sooner than bag. I used 2.5 50lb bags of play sand to fill it.... one of the bags was wet, took like 2 hours to spoon it through the tiny fill hole they give you. I haven’t used suction cups, just maneuver it onto my yoga mat for use. Doesn’t slide around too much, but will have to adjust a couple times in an hour workout. Seems well made! ... show more

I needed one punching bag for my nephew . He does it last time , he fall love in this product , so I am going to buy another one. I found this one, a little better specs than my last one, and had to give this one a try. I was not dissapointed, this one works great. Easy to fill, now, I filled this one with water, where my last one was with sand. I just wanted to see the difference and there is one. The sand can hold up to much higher impact, where I mean a lot. The water is good for regular training where the harder impact is not an issue. I really like the water where it holds up and yet, I can easily move it around the floor too. It was very easy to set up, it took me a whole five minutes and that mostly was the filling with water. I really like how this one comes with the gloves and not a bad set either . It’s great for him . I can imagine he must be crazy happy. Highly recommended ... show more

I used all of a 20lb sandbag to fill the base after purchasing the punching bag. The suction cups make a whole difference; I accidentally got some sand under the suction cups and when I began hitting the bag, it kept toppling over even with sand. This product works really well. I added the recommended sand and use it on a concrete floor. While I’m not sure how much the sand vs suction cups contribute towards its stability, I can say with combined forces this bag can take heavy punches before the suction gives out. I won’t pretend to be the strongest man in the world, but I’m heavy and mass moves mass. At best, with repetitive hooks, I can move the bag enough to where the suction cups fail, leaving the sand to keep the bag upright. When the bag resettles the weight of the sand pushes the cups down and it’s suctioned again. Beyond this, the bag can take non stop kicks, jabs, and crosses without fail. Solid and heavy duty bag. The smaller base and lower height allows kids to use it as well. I thought I wouldn't get the gloves but they showed up a couple days later in a separate box. Nice punching bag. Heavyweight quality. Was easy to assemble. It came in three separate boxes so it was like opening gifts for Christmas. Extra bonus that this came with boxing gloves. Although I already have, it’s great to have extras when guests come over. A good product for our home gym.
