This is really great quality for a punching bag that’s intended for kids. My son was hesitant to hit it hard, so we bought him boxing gloves to use with this (although it’s actually soft enough to use without). We have all tried punching it hard, and it has stayed upright. The suction is strong, even after moving it all over the house (which we do since it’s fairly light). It’s so strong, in fact, that we had to move it away from the hardwood floors because it was actually lifting the floors when we picked it up. It came in two shipments, with the bag itself arriving several days after the base, and it didn’t come with instructions. We were concerned at first, but it ended up being super easy to assemble (only took a couple of minutes). I bought this for my son, to help him focus his energy during the quarantine. I would recommend to anyone with kids up until age 13 or so. Since it’s small, it might not be ideal for kids much older than that. ... show more

So first I’ll say the quality of this bag is great. But, if you have anything other than tile, it won’t stick to the floor. That being said, putting weights or sandbags will solve your problem to an extent. My son is only 4 but he can easily tip it over without the sandbags. With the sandbags, it’s doable. When he gets older and stronger we’ll have to upgrade but this works for now. I’d recommend this to parents with toddlers. Bigger kids will absolutely tip it no problem, weighted or not. Great buy! It’s the perfect size for a kid, I got it for my nephews 5 and 8 and they both love it. It’s slim which lets it stand anywhere without standing out too much. Easy to install and oh boy does it not move once placed. If you’re unsure about getting it because of the price, it’s worth every penny compared to ‘inflatable/water base’ punching bag as they tend to break easy and don’t stay standing up. I recommend buying some type of glove since it is hard to punch bare handed if the kid isn’t use to it. Otherwise a product! ... show more

The string on the top is coming apart and it won’t plunge strong enough to the floor. My daughter is 8 and after 3 punches, it’s falling over. I wouldn’t buy this unless you have the time and space to bolt it down somewhere. The suction cups at the bottom are worthless.

I was looking to get something for my son to use for practicing karate. After watching videos of heavy bags and how much the swing around, I decided to try the Dripex Freestanding Punching Bag. I couldn't have been happier with my choice! This was very quick and easy to put together. It only takes up 1 square foot of floor space. The suction cups stick very firmly to my ceramic tile floor.
