  • Helpful Tips for installation
Style: drip and atomize
This item works very well. In my application, I ran the 12mm line to all 12 of my plant pots on the pool deck. A couple of helpful points to others: this system does not hook up to your outside hose spigot which has a 3/4" hose thread (the vendors connector has 3/4" pipe threads) so you need to make or purchase a suitable adaptor, also, the instructions would be better if they told you to mark the cut end of the 12mm tubing 13/16" back from the cut end which when you insert the tube into the TEE provided you push in until the mark meets the green collar insuring full insertion. Likewise for the smaller tube which feeds the sprinkler, mark the tube 1/2" back from the cut end. Doing so, ensures no leaks which the instructions warn you about if you don't insert the tubing fully, but they don't tell you how far fully is. Fully inserting means pushing the tube through the green collar, through the locking ring, through the o-ring until the tube hits the internal stop. If you understand that, then you should be leak free. The last tip, once you are all set up and have the sprinklers in service, do a test. Insert the operating sprinkler head upside down into an empty 1/2 gallon container and time how long it takes to fill. That gives you an idea of how much water you are putting out. As an example, the flowing sprinkler head in the picture filled up a 1/2 gallon container in 90 seconds. Using that information will help you figure out how long to water and set your timer accordingly. Be sure to take your measurements when all the system heads are running and adjusted to each location. The hose comes tightly coiled in the box and you will have an easier time working with the tubing if you uncoil it and lay it out in the sun until the tube stays semi- straight. I used 1/2" single hole plastic wire clamps from Home Depot to attach the 12mm tube run to the screenhouse aluminum framing. ... show more

  • Simple and effective = happy plants.
Style: drip and atomize
I’m super impressed with this very inexpensive solution. It’s simple and effective. The only downside is that the pressure gets low towards the end of the hose. However, I am not sure that is truly a product issue. My plants are happy that I give them some water regularly instead of forgetting them and letting them dry up into crinkly old dead stuff! I used Rainpoint sprinkler timer also purchased on Amazon. It does the job perfectly and was easy to program -it allows the use of a regular hose on the second attachment by just switching to manual mode which keeps the kids, surf boards and husband happy! (I’m holding back on the crinkly old man jokes) ... show more

  • Great set up!
Style: drip and atomize
I have been using rain Bird drip irrigation in all of my beds. I just didn't need the massive system and all of the gizmos that came with rain Bird and at this price point I decided to try the 96 ft setup. This was far easier to set up than rain Bird. It took me way less time. That being said, there are some limitations. I don't like that I can't purchase additional couplers. Once you are out of the connectors that bring the hose together you can't add anymore. Unfortunately I needed at least four to six more so I'm short. I will end up having to move the drippers from plant to plant on alternating days. I looked in their store and do not see an option to purchase more. For people who complained about leaks, all you have to do is readjust the hose into the connector. Every leak I had was solved by reinserting it or wiggling it in a little more firmly. I like the two options for the bubbler and the sprayer. If you wanted a very strong spray going straight up in the air, you could do it with this setup. My dogs thought it was fun to drink out of it as I was setting it up. The water pressure in it is great. I was able to adjust it down to what is the same as a drip or trickle setup in rain Bird. One of the best things about this setup is that the connectors freely spin. So if the hose is going in different directions and your smaller hoses need to go in different directions to plants, the connector freely spins. The rain birds do not. Once you puncture the main hose to put in a drip line, the rain bird system isn't going to move and this often can cause small leaks because it is so inflexible. That being said I have no idea how this system will hold up. I'm on my second year with the rain bird. I pulled them all in for the winter because I live in the Midwest. I label the different garden systems and put them in a giant plastic bag and seal them. I rolled them back out this spring from last winter and they were just fine. Sometimes getting them into the right spot for the right plant is a bit tricky but it's not a big deal. This is where I think this new system will actually outshine the rain bird. Those rotating couplers are fabulous. If I find a way to purchase extra couplers so I can get more water to all of my plants and not have to alternate I will upgrade my review from four stars to five stars. Not being able to add on without purchasing another set is a bit ridiculous. ... show more

  • Tiny little sprinkler system
Style: drip and atomize
Directions are pretty simple. I recommend that you stretch out the tubing for a few days. It being so tightly coiled is like trying to fight an octopus when installing. I’m very happy with this purchase.

  • High hopes, but poor quality "No-leaking Y Splitter" IT LEAKS
Style: drip and atomize
I had high hopes: The positive I like the adjustability of each sprinkler The included cutter works well to cut the tubing square the fittings seem easy to assemble / disassemble Why a 1 star (zero star are unavailable) The listing describes: 【No-leaking Y Spliter】The drip irrigation system kit comes with a dedicated splitter. It not only separates two drip lines, but also allows for adjustment through switches. US standard 3/4" threaded size Not true the Y splitter leaks so bad it is unusable.. the valves hold BUT =the connection to the 3/4" hose is loose and leaks (it is NOT the gasket) I pondered with idea of using epoxy to seal it but I spent too much to fix it myself. Is it a flawed component. or a bad design? I could not determine from the Amazon listing how to contact the seller so back it goes. ... show more

  • Great Coverage
Style: drip and atomize
Great product easy to set up. One sprinkler head covers a big area and major bonus the mist spray top for when plants or flowers grow.
