I got this product to water my garden. At first I was hesitate to put together, but once I put it together I kicked myself for not putting it together sooner! It was easy and painless. Quality is good. Adjustable where ever you need to put a head. Water flow was good once I figured I needed the water turned up all the way. Performance is wonderful! I really love this and I got a timer to work with it. And how I can water my plants and flower without worry about them dying. And I really love that you can close a sprinkler head just by twisting it to close...for thise plants that don't need to get watered very day. Value of money is pretty good. I bought this drip irrigation when it was a “deal”. I couldn’t be more pleased. So far, everything met my expectations and the larger hose diameter does make a difference. I used a bic lighter to heat up the 1/4” hose before trying to jam the hose over the barbs. It only takes 1-2 seconds max.

I purchased two other sets that I was not happy with and returned. Love this one! This one has the half inch line you need to keep good pressure for a garden bed. I did need a few other items such as some half inch connectors and elbows but you might be able to get away without them, I just had to reconnect a few cut pieces. I also needed more sprinkler heads but that was expected before they even arrived. I did add a $25 pressure reducer to connect straight to my hose with a Y splitter off my spigot so I can still use my regular hose. Even without this piece I do have to run my two 8' beds at different times; to make this easier I added a 1/2 on/off valve to each 1/2 line that ran into my two beds. I'm sure you can hook this up to your sprinkler system, I plan to when I set up some drop lines for future shrubbery, but for right now this is perfect for me to maintain control of my garden watering. ... show more

Bought this kit and installed it without issue but went on vacation for a couple of weeks and had it on a timer and when we got home it was leaking and spraying everywhere....the rabbits apparently thought it was licorice snacks and had chewed through in several spots and there is no straight line connectors in the kit to make inline repairs...had to install a tee and plug the third leg to make a repair. ... show more

Saves a lot of time and effort irrigating the plants around the house. Like anything of this nature, plan where you want the lines to run ahead of time and it will be easy to install as well. it works well. None of the joints leaked. We used a hot air gun to BRIEFLY warm up the tubing end before pushing it on the fittings and that made installation so much easier. ... show more

Good amount of small tubing cheap price. Small fittings hard to get on . small fittings putting in large tubing don't seal right Some large fittings don't fit right on large tubing Large tubing is of not good quality No type of pressure reducer

So three months ago I would've rated it more like a 4. Easy(ish) to install, less stiff than the RainBird line, etc. But then this heat wave hit and now the lines are "melting", expanding when the system kicks in a blowing off anything hooked into them. I had to go in & re-do various lines (so far) with RainDrip ones (THOSE lines have never failed) and fear I will have to do it anywhere these are installed. So save yourself future frustration & pay the extra for the better product. MY bigger frustration is more & more hardware stores are going w/ cheaper lines like this and it's more difficult to even *find* RainDrip! ... show more

I tried this in my hoop house, I wouldn’t necessarily consider this drip irrigation. But I ended up hanging the mist nozzles up in my cold frame and it works for that.
