After installation,the blades ticked or knocked as the tips touched. There was visible knurling on the tips. I replaced all 3 deck spindles, and they still hit. Using an angle grinder, I took off about 1mm from each end of the center blade, checking for interference. Once I was satisfied of clearance, I reinstalled the mower on the tractor, and it cuts beautifully. No rooster comb between blades even in a tight radius turn. All in all satisfied, but be careful to test for interference before powering up the mower.
