I did a lot of research before going with the drinkmate. A few things that made me pick it over other brands and models- -No need to be plugged in so it can go anywhere on the counter -Small footprint which is great when counterspace is already limited -you can carbonate things other than water, recarbonate flat drinks, or make fancy cocktails/cocktails with it so the carbonation is distributed throughout the entire drink as opposed to just the water -distribition of carbonation is high and even -ease of use and maintenance, you just click it on and press a button a couple of times It really has delivered on all key points, we bought extra bottles and keep them in the fridge and ready, I hand wash as needed and so far it's been great we have carbonated things other than water and it has performed extremely well and cleaning and maintaining it is super easy. We have had no issues clicking on and off the carbonation head which I saw can be difficult with some other brands. Over all I would go with the drinkmate again and again.

Seemed fine but only lasted 18mths of almost daily use until the fill adapter started to become stiff and fail. The major upside is that this had a 2yr warranty and they dropped us a brand new one free of any charge, replacement came in only 7days. Awesome 2yr, simple warranty replacements. Kudos! I'd buy it again just for the reassurance of such excellent coverage.... Oh yeah, and it works great too....

I almost bought a SodaStream during prime day. Thought I should check people's review online, and as it turns out, people suggest DrinkMate over SodaStream. Now I know why! for SodaStream you can only carbonate water. But with DrinkMate they let you carbonate anything. Whether it's wine, juice, coffee, or tea. I have tried multiple different drinks and it works like a charm. One slight downside is that it says it can carbonate 60L. It was way less for me, but then I do like heavily carbonated drinks.

After having COVID over 3 months ago, I detest drinking plain water. It just is gross to me which, as an avid water drinker before was hard to swallow.😉 I do like fizzy water though. It was costing me a fortune to purchase because I drink a lot of water. Now I have this and I love it! Don’t know that I will save a ton of $ having to fill the cartridges, but some is better than none. I do wish it came with cartridges. At the time of purchase, that was not an option so I bought those, as well. The Soda Stream was a better deal, but I opted for this one because you can add carbonation to any kind of liquid. My husband likes to add flavors to his water. This way he can do that and add carbonation, too.

I was waiting for a sale to grab this and wish I had just bought it a long time ago. It’s easy to use and works well. I’ll probably buy extra bottles so the water can be thoroughly chilled before use for the most intense carbonation (it works great at room temperature, too—but I like maximum bubbles). Not that the bottom of the actual bottle does not come off for cleaning, just the decorative plastic (unnecessary plastic?). Also note that the bottles technically only last a few years—but I bet they’ll keep working past their expiration date.
