I watched the video review and I thought they would be ok for some extra air movement in a 4x4x8 grow tent. They don't move any air im my opinion. Nowhere close to 110 cfm. A cheap newer fart fan in your bathroom moves under 100 cfm of air and this is less powerful. It barely moves the smoke from a blown out piece of paper I burned in my fireplace. Even using both in 1 tent is very limited air movement. With only 3 ft of duct attached on the output side there wasn't enough air pressure to move a flame on a lighter and the paper fell off the intake side unlike the ones from the review video. His video is not wrong its full of good information. The ones I received are not not as good as the ones he reviewed, so the quality is either inconsistent or they have lowered the quality but have the incorrect current specs listed. I would not purchase, spend a bit more for something better and check out the video review the other guy left for some good information. ... show more

These work, but the tincan looking fan blade's don't push much air.

I got the 2pk thinking I'll use one and have one for a backup. But.. Installed the first one and it ran for a day till the fan blade fell out. Installed the second and it's running but for how long.

    • Spliced wires, held together with shrink wrap? Really?
I'm not even going to upload a picture for this one. There's a rubber sleave that covers a portion of the wire going to the motor. Slide it back and you'll find where the manufacturer carelessly splices the wires together and trusts shrink wrap to hold it in place. Go ahead and give it a little yank. It takes almost no effort to pull them apart. Just in normal everyday handling, I accidentally pulled the wires apart on both fans I purchased. I spliced the wires back together because I didn't want to go through the hassle of returning, but I did give a golden "1 star" award for effort. Don't give the manufacturer of this fan any business.     • Lower airflow than expected.
I used these to help exhaust a portable AC vent and while I can appreciate that they were very easy to install, and very quiet - the airflow that they produced was really minor. I would have really liked for these to be two or three times the output, and have a noise level that was twice what it is. The unfortunate side of these as well is the positioning of the power cables right on the side, you have to ensure that you've got proper access to your power - able to plug it in, and use the switch (as needed?). Overall, they worked - mostly as described, but the airflow was a real letdown for me. I'm not sure how to gauge what "110CFM" equates to in my own expectations, so I should have picked up something heavier. ... show more
