I live in San Francisco where it's usually cool. But climate change has steadily increased air temperature. I have been using a Hunter desk fan for YEARS. But the temperatures are much higher now and I needed a fan that would cool a larger area. I hesitated in buying the DREO because of plans to move to a place with central air conditioning. SF doesn't even put AC in NEW apartments. Finally after a few hot days I bought the DREO. I had researched it and it was highly rated. All I can say is this fan is awesome. It is so much better than my blade fan. Even on the lowest speed it is moving cool air all throughout my small apartment. It is so quiet and powerful at the same time. I haven't had to go beyond the 5 setting and it is blissfully cool, quiet and so much like central air it's surprising. If anything it is much quieter and cooler than central air. I need cool air at night and really need air to circulate. This fan is perfectly quiet and awesomely superior at maintaining a quiet, cool, temperature whilst I sleep. I set the speed on 4 to sleep and it is much quieter than my Hunter fan. My previous fan is NOT noisy but the DREO is practically soundless at the speed setting of 5 and entirely soundless below a 5. I haven't had to use a higher speed but I did test it all the way up to 12 and with oscillation and the sound is still quite impressively minimal. It is also very easy to clean. The other fan had to be disassembled for cleaning and dust would accumulate making it difficult to maintain. This DREO has a very easy access to the filter for cleaning. So far I have only dusted it, but given its height, quiet power and actual ability to make the air COOL I am very happy with my purchase. It is very slim in its design and quite easy to move if necessary. I love it!

This fan is PERFECT!! I ordered it since I don’t have any AC or much ventilation in my home and it gets unbearably hot in my room even with the window open. So since summer time is officially here I thought I was gonna need and upgraded fan for my room and this one definitely checks out all the needs and wants I was looking for. This fan is definitely more powerful then I thought even having it on 2 I can still feel the cool air from across my room which takes the cake compared to other fans that i’ve owned and not only is it strong but it also cools down my room within minutes making the temperature nice and refreshing after a hot day. it’s not too loud on its highest setting and it’s a pretty quiet on its lowest that sometimes I forget I have it on. Personally I like to keep it at 3 since it’s perfect for keeping the temperature cool and also keeping the noise level low. The fan size is perfect it reaches over my bed (which is 2 feet tall) so I can feel cool air while I sleep. The fan oscillation moves at a nice pace which I feel like also helps cool down the room a lot faster since it moves at a exceptionally moderate rate turning from one side of the room to the other. Assembling only took 2 minutes since it’s just the stand you need to put together and attaching it to the fan itself. The remote control is nice too one of my favorite parts about it is that you can turn off the beep sound the fan makes when you turn it on or off or when you change the wind power. The fan even has a little cubby for the remote on the back so you don’t lose it but I haven’t used it that much since I downloaded the app. The app is easy to use and convenient especially if you wake up in the middle of a hot night sweating like crazy. You can turn it on with your phone and set how powerful you want it along with a timer for how long you want the fan to be on for which I find perfect since I want to sleep comfortably but don’t want run up the electrical bill to much having the fan on all night lol. I bought this on sale so the price is definitely worth it in my opinion and given my situation. I hope my review helped answer any questions you had and erased any doubts you may have felt. I 100% recommend this fan to anyone looking for a upgrade!! Have a great day and a cool summer :)

I live in Arizona and we need fans. Most of us run them 24/7 all year round. This is the absolute best fan I have ever bought! Great design- saves space, and the best part is it roates from one side of the room all the way to other side. It stays at both ends equally for a longer time. It's like a thoughtful fan as it takes time to benefit the entire room! Lol I haven't had mine above 3 yet and it's been perfect. It's 12 ft or so from the couch and I see can my dog's ears blowing in the breeze! So the flow is GREAT! Whisper quiet, you will forget it's on. Only downfall is I want one for my bedroom, but they are way too quiet. I need the sound and wish they sold a nosier one too for us that need it for sleep. Buy the fan! You will love it.

Average joe review. I repeat i am not a paid actor. I write honest reviews. I want to add i’ve tried and retruned ALOT of these types of fans because they all claim they move air. 80% of them are box fans with no good air flow or directional air flow ( you have to have it pointed right at you to feel it) If you are looking to move some air this fan is for you. 1. Does it move air. Yes it does. Goes from 1-12. 1-6 it is quiet. At 6 it moves just enough air. On 10-12 it moves alot of air and it is a bit louder but not overwhelming. 2. How far does it reach. On 12 you can feel it across a decent sized living room. On 6 probably a good size couch to wall away. 3. I bought 3 of them. Keep one in loving room, one in bedroom and one i bought still in box as a backup. We all hate that one product we really like and then it goes out and you can never find it again. 4. The remote is nice but it has to be pointed directly in front of the unit. You can use it across the room but if its osculating then you will have to wait til its pointing at you. I do have 1 con. I don't like the menu settings. They are tiny and hard to see. If it’s on economy mode this thing will shut off. I turned that shhh off. Overall it is a good fan. It is easy to clean. Its tall. It can move alot of air or just enough depending on your likeness. It looks decent enough. Update. Still growing strong. Damn thing runs 24 hrs a day 7 days a week. Clean it once in a while. Have 2 this way and both working perfectly. 1 year in.

I really like this fan, since I wanted something that covered more vertically, and was quieter than regular fans. This is definitely very quiet, and I don't think would disturb even a very light sleeper on the lowest setting. The fan cools very well even on the lowest setting, and has kept me comfortable even when it is very hot in the room. I like the controls on top, and the remote that came with it, both are very easy to figure out and use. The fact it lights up when you make any changes is nice, so you can see it in the dark if needed, but then goes off after about a minute so it's not jarring in a dark room. It covers a wide area as it turns, and fairly light weight for its size so easy to move and adjust as needed. Was easy to assemble and attach the base, and I love that it is easy to take apart to clean as well.

Like most folks who read reviews before they make a purchase on Amazon, I read a ton of them on different tower fans. I had an old 42 in Lasko tower fan for about 8 years and the oscillating function gave out. It was still blowing good however I decided to finally buy a new one. I just purchased the Dreo 13in. desk fan and Im impressed with the velocity of air it blows with 4 speeds so I thought this Dreo tower fan must be just as good right? Nope! While the white tower fan looks very nice and appears well manufactured, it simply does not move or blow enough air. I bought it for my 15x12 ft office because all, but one review, stated the fan was powerful and moved a lot of air. I don't know how they came up with the advertised distance of 26 ft that it moves the air. All I can tell you is that from one side in my office to the other side 15 ft away, it barely moves enough air to feel it in the opposite corner on the highest 5 setting. My new Dreo desk fan blows harder and moves more air than this tower fan and I really love it. Course it is not as quiet as the tower fan. But if you are sitting no more than 10 -12 ft from the tower fan it should work fine for you in the 5 different settings Just don't expect it to move enough air to make a large room comfortable with its air flow. I hate to return it and with both my desk and tower fan going, my office stays fairly cool so I'll probably keep it. Plus the same remote operates both fans which is nice. I just think they should change the 26 ft advertised air flow distance to about 10 -12 ft which is what it really does. Hope this review helps. 7/23/24 - Update: I've had my tower fan for a couple of weeks now and realize I like it better than my original (3) star rating. Although I am still disappointed in the actual air flow distance not being 26ft in my opinion, my Big Boy Lab really likes the soft air on him a lot and he now has another favorite place to lye next to the fan. Plus, I downloaded the Dreo app on my cell phone and can now control it even if I'm not home while he is laying in his bed in my office. (the things we do for our Fur Babies!!) Despite my opinion about the air flow, it has turned out to be a good purchase after all.

This is so much better than the 26 inch. It is not at all loud for having 12 air speeds. It works well. Rotates 90 degrees. I love everything about this fan.

Finally a fan I love! My 16 year old Lasko finally died. I tried 2 other brands and returned them both due to low velocity and high noise. Then I decided to try this DREO. WOW! Lots of great features like not only a timer off of 12 hours, but a turn on timer too. 3 different air modes, 4 speeds, easy to use and read display and remote. Super, SUPER quiet with lots of wind! Highly recommend!
